Bangladesh Economic & Infrastructure Development - Updates & Discussions

Estimated market for electronic appliances in Bangladesh (refrigerators, air conditioners, televisions and small home appliances) is Tk. 20,000 crore yearly per industry sources. Which is roughly US$1.85 Billion per year - this is estimated to double by 2030. This does not include cellphones which is another large market by itself.

See post #2595 above.

Revenue in the Household Appliances market in India was "projected" to reach US$4.32bn in 2023. This is a little over twice the size of the Bangladesh market.

Revenue in the Household Appliances market in China reached US$92.51bn in 2023.

Arey, the link you shared was for ecommerce sales. The total sales are worth $75 billion. That's nearly 40 times yours.

  • Revenue in the Household Appliances market amounts to US$74.49bn in 2023. The market is expected to grow annually by 5.65% (CAGR 2023-2028)

India is buying $7 billion worth of iPhones alone each year and you dumb guys think it would only spend $4.32 billion in home appliances? Sometimes I have to really wonder the foolishness of you lot.

LG alone had a sales of $2.3 billion in India in 2022.

Rey Kanjoos - ours was ecommerce too - please don't pollute this sticky thread with your fake govt. stats.

ecommerce sales of appliances in India only $4.3 Billion and store retail sales magically balloons to $75 Billion.

Especially when people mostly shop online nowadays. Ullu kahikey.....

Why not say $75 Trillion ??

Bhikharee idiots dreaming and building castles in the sky with a few million backoffice jobs - and are more gareeb than us.

People in Bangladesh villages nowadays have refrigerators and microwaves, 100% electrified. This ain't your fakinni Modiland.

Bhoye hageyna - jodi khidey peye jai! Khetey to poisha lagbey.....

Toder bhakt der obostha amra Bangladeshira bhalo korey jani rey - nijer chokhey dekha....

Gyati bhai dekhey kichhu bolina. Bimaru der pa chatbi - chetey ja. Toder obostha dekhey kharap e lagey - kothai giye nemechhish.

Go to your forum threads and chest-beat there.

You have been reported.

Lol. Dumbo, it was you who compared your shit hole to India. I know you uneducated chaprassis couldn't understand markets. No wonder your entire country market capitalization is just $40 billion. No one sees any potential in the market.

And yours is not ecommerce. Shameless lilliputs.

Please do us the favor of not commenting here when all you can offer is name-calling.

Stop bringing India into the thread. I will not. Also, This is not your personal fiefdom to stop others from commenting.

Constructive criticism is welcome but not name-calling.
Name calling? He is the one who does that. He brought India into conversation when it is not required and put up a wrong statistic to gloat. I call such people idiots. However you should check yours and other Bangos comments too.
