When BNP came to power last time, owing to the atrocities being committed against their women, Hindus in the effected districts had to send them away their women to Hasina's home district. This was the scale of horror being inflicted upon the Hindus. Hindus were targeted for just being loyal to Hasina.

The situation came to such a pass that terrified Hindus, especially women, fled their villages. In one such incident, the entire population in Agoyljhara in southern Barisal fled to Gopalganj, the home district of Sheikh Hasina, for protection.

Now when there is news of something insulting to Islam being posted on Facebook in BD. So this time the Bangladeshi have a so called valid reason to attack the minorities. I shudder to think what kind of physical and sexual attacks the minorities would have to continue to endure till the situation is finally brought back to normal.


In contrast Gujarat Riots in India were result of burning of train full of Hindus pilgrims by Muslim mob.

One mosque was demolished in India and it became such a news whereas Hundreds of temples are destroyed in Bangladesh and Pakistan every day and the global media hardly notices.

It is hard to believe that insulting Islam in a highly emotionally charged environment in a Muslim majority country was act of a lone "buddhist" actor. Motive suggests India and Awami League involves in such despicable act, they are the one stand to benefit by using this as an excuse to repress opposition. And tell other countries opposition are rouge. In the preparation of using this riot to blame opposition, Awami League regime few weeks back sent memo to Bangladesh embassies abroad to tell foreign govt that opposition is rouge and fundamentalist. This riot instigated by indo-awami nexus is just prove their propaganda memo sent to foreign capitals earlier.
