Bangladesh- China trade to hit $18 billion by 2021

Less number of projects with Chinese money is better for Bangladesh. Japan has a program to spend $270 billion by 2022 on infrastructure projects throughout Asia and Africa. Japan has better technology than any other in Asia.

However, we may have to depend upon China for our arms, probably which the Chinese will play trick with us. BD needs to diversify its source of arms and ammunition, too.
Congratulations to Bangladesh for getting $270 billion.
Congratulations to Japan for getting the project license.

About weapons. Don't worry. Enough for you to defend yourself.

Do not please talk pricky, BD is not getting $270 billion. It is the entire of Asia and Africa. Can we alone consume that much of money when we do not have enough educated and trained manpower to do even the planning, let alone implementation?

Japan is already financing Dhaka elevated Metrorail and Kanchpur bridge projects. Both are quite expensive to build. It will also build Matarbari coal-fired power plant and is now considering a new railway bridge project parallel to the Jamuna Bridge only 150m north.

It has already financed the survey and site selection process there. However, like the Padma Bridge, this new bridge will also be a little curved. It seems Mr. Mujibul Haq, the former railway minister is fond of the unnecessary curve on the railway bridges.

However, successful implementation of the Padma Bridge will be a great milestone for the development of Bangladesh with Chinese collaboration.

Why it is Sweden and Spain in a BD-China trade thread and what BD community is like in Sweden? Do they work menial and you work in a air-conditioned room shouting orders? Why a fellow like you have to criticize people sincerely doing jobs in Sweden or Spain irrespective the type of jobs? They are not stealing money as the mean Indians love to do in foreign countries.

I see in Japan, Pakistanis work mostly in Pakistan-owned car export businesses, Indians/ Nepalese work in the restaurant kitchens and most Bangladeshis work in the factories. Why bad to work in factories and why dishwashing is better? Factory job is more manly than the dishwashing job which fits squarely with the proteinless Indians like you.

What are you doing in Canada? Sweeping the streets there because with pot belly and fat *** you are not even fit to work in a kitchen? Do not please insult others for whatever works they do unless they are dishonest. Dishonesty thy name is Indians. No division of labor please in South Asian style!!
His bread and butter is to side and butter up 'the enemy of my enemy'. Yesterday Pakistanis, today Chinese, tomorrow Burmese. TBH watching from a neutral standpoint I find it quite funny how he flip-flops between the camps and tags all the loud-mouth members just to stand his insult/taunt. I advise everyone to refrain from fighting back fire with fire with people such as him and others. Ultimately we're all fraction of our true persona hiding behind anonymity. Maybe he's a good person irl who's just trying to be an edgy teen online, we will never know.

these here corrupt, slow-witted, inept numbnuts live in an alternate reality

July 19, 2018 Investment Climate Statements

excerpts:
"The Government of Bangladesh (GOB) actively seeks foreign investment, particularly in the agribusiness, garment/textiles, leather/leather goods, light manufacturing, energy, information and communications technology (ICT), and infrastructure sectors."

"Bangladesh received USD 2.3 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2016, up from USD 2.2 billion the previous year. However, the rate of FDI inflows is only 1 percent of GDP, one of the lowest of rates in Asia."

"[...] inadequate infrastructure, limited financing instruments, bureaucratic delays, and corruption continue to hinder foreign investment. New government efforts to improve the business environment show promise but implementation has yet to be seen. Slow adoption of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and sluggish judicial processes impede the enforcement of contracts and the resolution of business disputes."

"International brands and the international community continue to press the GOB to meaningfully address worker rights and factory safety problems in Bangladesh. With unprecedented support from the international community and the private sector, Bangladesh has made significant progress on fire and workplace safety. Critical work remains on safeguarding workers’ rights to freely associate and bargain collectively, including in the Export Processing Zones (EPZs)."

Japan's role in Bangladesh is minicule and negligible, Bangladesh can choose to deny China's money, but the alternative will never be Japan whose economy is shirinking fast by each passing year, US is a much better alternative actually.

Aren't you supposed to be a repeat account of me? Haha.

What am I doing in North America compared to a Bangladeshi like yourself?

Take a wild guess lol:

There is a reason you lot perform like you do. You are utterly deficient. You have driven away the smart ones you had to India....and left with absolute crap lol.

Now shoo....enjoy Hagseena imposed on your footstool of a swamp....when you aren't busy crying about "3 million".

In many of your posts, you laugh at what BD citizens do in other countries while you yourself are a road-sweeper in Canada. I can guess it by reading your nonsense braggings all the time. A man of substance will not do so. Since you are unable to get out of the quagmire your legs are in, you love to criticize others to show off yourself above them. You are under the pressure of frustration and you are a psycho.

Does it concern you what BD expatriates do in Sweden or other countries? Why a non-person like you should criticize others for working hard? The important point is they earn honest money. They work hard in every country they go to while Indians like you cannot get out of kitchens everywhere.

BD citizens abroad are our heroes. They brave the heat and cold weather of other countries and earn money to support their families at home. You should learn to respect their efforts. But, you criticize out of your own frustration.

IDIOT ROAD-SWEEPER, RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE'S SWEATS.

Dude, what are you smoking?

Japan gives nearly 2 billion US dollars of super low interest loans to BD every year.

It is currently financing the Matarbari coal fired power station and the Dhaka Metro.

No one cares. You guys are peasants wherever you go. Think stupid and act stupid and cheap. Why you think you lot form the most disgusting ghettos wherever you go without fail? Don't talk to me about "honest" and "sweat"....you lot are trash through and through....dependent on welfare and handouts (and living off calling your dirty restaurants as "Indian" because no one even knows your dump swamp country) and then complaining everyone is against you...all because you have no brains and dont want to develop any.

That ingrate inferiority gene is heavily embedded in you as result (3 million waaaaaaah, Dada evil waaaaaaah).

I was just pointing out to @Sanchez what he mentioned here:

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/chin...ional-laws-ambass.590838/page-2#post-11009131

I was talking to him....you need not reply little ingrate beggar. Your lot amply display to everyone in real life what you lot are, who gives a F what you type to me or I type to you in a forum....why take it so serious little ingrate?

The fact you keep posting here (forum of a country you cry killed 3 million of your people) shows exactly to everyone what you are. A bunch of clingy pieces of crap that have zero honour and basic self-respect....and that is borne out in real life too.....and it wont change.

Now go keep being racist to Chinese because you think you are Japanese lol:

Stop sending cheap posts. These all prove your status as a road-sweeper in Canada. This is why you hate works. Manly works are for those who take protein since childhood. I have met an Indian ex-military officer in Japan who could not walk even two km. Indians are lazy and disgusting. Comparing to their protein-deficient bodies, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis are far above in the workplace and in war fields.

Leave the road-sweeping job, lower your fat and try to get a kitchen job that will suit you.

Chinese so called ''non interference policy'' is just a hogwash. China pull ahead this ''non interference policy'' only when there is a question of taking a right stand in international affairs. otherwise they interfere very enthusiastically to prop up the autocratic dictatorship around the world by helping them with it's unlimited supply of cash, weapons and diplomatic supports. Isn't these are 'interference' in favor of despotic regimes?

Just yesterday Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohammad warned Philippines President about the Chinese debt trap. Many African countries are also waking up to the realities of Chinese debt trap laden neo-colonialism. Those who simplify the logic that, ''US is evil, so whoever oppose it are inherently good, so China is good'' are simply delusional. Every country need to be careful dealing with Chinese money. China do not care about transparency at handing out large amount of debt to the corrupt, despotic govt. in exchange of it's natural resources or strategic infrastructures. In these cases, only the common people of those countries are going to loose when payback times come.China may be a big power, but it is not a responsible power. It do not care about world peace and prosperity, only about it's narrow national interests.

So, our relation should be strictly economical with China and every Chinese project need a lot of scrutiny by the govt., civil society and media.

HAMBANTOTA, Sri Lanka — Every time Sri Lanka’s president, Mahinda Rajapaksa, turned to his Chinese allies for loans and assistance with an ambitious port project, the answer was yes.

Yes, though feasibility studies said the port wouldn’t work. Yes, though other frequent lenders like India had refused. Yes, though Sri Lanka’s debt was ballooning rapidly under Mr. Rajapaksa................................................
................................................................Determined to keep expanding the port, Mr. Rajapaksa went back to the Chinese government in 2012, asking for $757 million.

The Chinese agreed again. But this time, the terms were much steeper.

The first loan, at $307 million, had originally come at a variable rate that usually settled above 1 or 2 percent after the global financial crash in 2008. (For comparison, rates on similar Japanese loans for infrastructure projects run below half a percent.)

But to secure fresh funding, that initial loan was renegotiated to a much higher 6.3 percent fixed rate. Mr. Rajapaksa acquiesced.

The rising debt and project costs, even as the port was struggling, handed Sri Lanka’s political opposition a powerful issue, and it campaigned heavily on suspicions about China. Mr. Rajapaksa lost the election.

The incoming government, led by President Maithripala Sirisena, came to office with a mandate to scrutinize Sri Lanka’s financial deals. It also faced a daunting amount of debt: Under Mr. Rajapaksa, the country’s debt had increased threefold, to $44.8 billion when he left office. And for 2015 alone, a $4.68 billion payment was due at year’s end.

Sri Lanka leased out its useless $210 million Mattala airport to India for 40 years for $300 million. They leased out useless Hembantota Port to the Chinese for 99 years for about $1.4 billion. In the process they have an Airport and Sea port for no money that failed every feasibility study ! India has access to a foreign airport which it controls and China has a port where its Submarines docked a few months ago !

If anyone is to be blamed for these deals it is the prior Sri Lankan Government. That government believed if you build they will come kinda thing which did not turn out that way while taking out these loans.
