UN Secretary General at Pakistan

PTV: The UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon arrives at Pakistan for a 2 days visit. Ban Ki Moon today visited National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad and inaugurated International Centre for Peace and Stability.
The Secretary General in his speech at NUST said that Pakistan is number 1 in peace loving country in the world. He said that out of every 10 troops of Peace-Keeping missions around the world, one of them is a Pakistani.

Surprisingly in the beginning of his speech he also spook Urdu saying: "Mjhe yahan aa k bohat achaa lagaa".

Urdu for international language!!.. :pakistan: :rofl: :omghaha:

Centre for International Peace and Stability Pakistan


The Centre for International Peace and Stability (CIPS) runs academic and research programmes, promoting Pakistan’s contribution to peacekeeping around the world.

The centre has been established within NUST Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (NIPCONS), at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad. In 2012 it launched the UN peacekeeping courses in Pakistan and it is currently planning to introduce post-graduate programmes in the area of international relations and peace and conflict studies.

The centre also works as an independent think-thank in the areas of peace and stability, development, conflict resolution, regional studies and peacekeeping research.
