Balochistan rejected Imran Khan, claims Balochistan CM

How did PTI supported TTP without being never in power . isn't it pmln which also supported peace talks in two APCs and didn't Nawaz played important role in creation of Taliban and took money from usama to throw off PPP government . Shahbaz Sharif called them brother multiple times

It was PTI project as it always had been from 2007 to 2013, then it has become the official the moment Imran Khan brought the peace proposal with the rallying support from all over Pakistan to supersede the military project of General Kiyani in COAS meeting at the year of 2013-2014. It was same COAS where Imran Khan was caught lying saying while quoting Generel Kiyani that the military had 40% to succeed which later clarified by General Kiyani which he meant the military will eradicate 40% of terrorism and there is still a lot more to do.

Nawaz Sharif as Federal government just went along with the popular consensus. The same popular consensus got outrage after the attack by TTP on School and Airport in the short span of time while PTI promised the intention of TTP intended for peace only backfired as TTP repeatedly betrayed and lied.

By the time the public lost faith in Imran Khan and demanded the military operation, therefore Nawaz Sharif launched the military operation called 'Zarb-e-Azb' with the cooperation of General Raheel who succeeded General Kiyani then.

Imran Khan was left in bitter taste which could be clearly seen, even from the distant planets.

i am not PTI supporter neither PML-N. but they voted:

* People with jobs
* some from Army
* some Pakistanis

BTW Nawaz Sharif hasn't brought any honor to Pakistan. He is also a disgrace to country.

That is because you live in Canada. You might not be best person to talk about the ground reality. Whereas i am relying on the sources including the economical expertise.

Ever since PMLN came, the government was approved with billion dollars which invested on the energy sector, fast-tracked CPEC, launched military operation with General Raheel [which was never on the card with Imran Khan being pro-TTP], improved the economy by huge margins compared to the economy left in tatter under the ruling of Zardari witnessed the biggest downfall of economy in the history of Pakistan. Then from the metro projects expanding to metro rails, and more projects are announced for the future provided no interruption happens meaning meaningless dharnas.

You don't have to take my words. Just follow the economic news and keep up with the update.

As for your post;

* People with jobs voted for PMLN because they wanted stability in economy.

* People with business voted for PMLN because they wanted to invest in the safe sound than to face obstacle through dharna holding cities and towns as hostage, forcing local businesses close down their business and damaging the economy.

* People from Pakistan army voted for PMLN because they didn't want to vote for Imran Khan who is pro-TTP even though TTP is the biggest terrorist outfit.

@Little Falcon

I have had debate over topic many times already. Besides it is apple vs orange. When Musharraf assumed the leadership of Pakistan, it was at the time when the economy was stable. Then in 2005, bankruptcy survived through the foreign aids [not loans] which kept the nation floating. Yet there was no sign of investments to keep the economy of float. The same leadership that used exit-strategy with Zardari whose criminal charges was cleared and then Zardari succeeded him which led to the biggest downfall in the history of Pakistan in the economical perspective.

When Nawaz Sharif assumed the leadership, the economy was already left in tatter while terrorism and criminal activity were at the high peak. Nawaz Sharif had to borrow the loans to stabilize the economy [which explains the huge debt] and then fund the military operation to eradicate terrorism nationwide to criminal activity in Karachi. It took borrowed billion dollars to set the nation on the right track, not to mention the same borrowed billion dollars for energy sectors, metro projects, CPEC and many more for the first time in the history of Pakistan.

Do you know why Nawaz Sharif had to borrow billion dollars to fund the military operation with the cooperation of General Raheel against TTP and MQM? Because TTP was born and flourished under the leadership of Musharraf, and MQM was allowed to flourish with the cooperation of Musharraf who always had pro-stances of MQM. Even now, he was against Zarb-e-Azb mission expanded all the way to Karachi against MQM.

Again, it is apple and orange. Musharraf had the luxury to rule even then he turned the nation to bankruptcy which survived through the foreign aids [not loans to return the money back with interests]. Whereas for Nawaz Sharif, he was busy cleaning the mess made by the policy of Musharraf including his disaster policy in Balochistan which took the years of diplomatic tactics of democratic elected government, Zardari, to undo the damages and laid the path for Nawaz Sharif to fast-track CPEC comfortably.

Besides, your post shows why it is easy to manipulate the stats while overlooking the context of the whole background.

I got your point! But its better not to invest in trivial projects. BTW how can we be sure that all loan taken is invested. During Nawaz term in 1990's our country got destroyed which forced a coup. And yes you can only go bankrupt by taking loans and unpay them. Greece is an example so they basically are selling our country.

It has and that is why CPEC has been fast-tracked, Metro projects has been built in Lahore and now Rawalpind-Islamabad. It is happening right in front of your eyes. All it takes is your eyes to observe the events in Pakistan.

Nawaz Sharif had already invested in the projects that provides huge turner since he needs to pay back, hence less investment on Education and Health and more on the projects that can carry the economy of Pakistan forward and make some money to stabilize the economy and pay back with interests [extra].

Let me repeat; Nawaz Sharif had already invested on the energy sector, launched military operation, fast-tracked CPEC, built metro projects in Lahore, Rawalpindi-Islamabad and more on the ways. Those projects are already started, not to forget brand new Airport in Islamabad as well. Past tense is the key.

Whenever coup occurs, the economy of nation suffers the most. It has nothing to do with the democratic elected government. More to do with the military army. No nation in the world wants to deal with the military nation. They only deal with the democracy. That is why PMLN. democratic elected government, was able to stabilize the economy easily whereas Musharraf failed despite the foreign aids and handsome donations. Because no one wanted to invest on the Pakistan army that cannot be reason.

That is why Pakistan needs democracy to stay for the sake of stability and the benefits of Pakistan in regards to economy in the long run.
