Balochistan | Over 2,000 Farraris surrendered in two years.

The renewed policy of Islamabad for Balochistan is bearing fruits as more than 2,000 suspected separatists have surrendered to security forces in last two years. In addition, around 300 handed themselves recently under a general amnesty which promises money and a government job in return, revealed National Action Plan (NAP) Review – 2017 issued by National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), highlighting steps towards reconciliation.
The effort to court Baloch separatists has been appreciated. In recent years, the government has also embarked on a strategy to address some of province‘s main grievances. The Review said hundreds of Baloch students have been granted scholarships by universities in Punjab. Separatist leader Nawabzada Gazain Marri returned to Pakistan after a decade in self-imposed exile, a development seen as another government success in soothing tensions.
Moreover, Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan initiative ensured representation of Balochistan in the country’s top institutions including army where 13,200 Baloch youths have been inducted while 580 more completed their training in December 2017. Besides Mastung, three more cadet colleges have been established in the province, 67 youth from Balochistan had been recruited in Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), three in Civil Defence Department, 68 in PWD, 70 in Utility Stores Corporation, seven in Planning and Development Division, 50 in Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) and three in Ministry of Defence.—APP

In the last two years the forces have inducted 13200 military personal of baluch origin as well as over 2000 have surrendered to the state.

Those numbers are indeed impressive.

Its time we provide development to the area and this insurgency once and for all.

they can be inducted in FC and jobs should be created in minerals and construction arena by the govt isntead of dumping billions in steels mills and PIA

Or be used in the construction of the border fence and later on in repair and maintenance of it

The insurgency has completely died in the last few years , after the RAW sponsored terrorism network through spies like Kulbushan Jadev was intercepted and dismantled. Hundreds of innocent Baloch people have died at the hands of indian terrorism. Good news for Pakistan, RAW was eyeing to destabilize the region esp after CPEC but they have miserably failed.

Yet innocent Balochis, police and fc personnel are being killed on daily basis in Balochistan. Every day there is a killing in Quetta. Law and enforcement agencies need to do more. Also keep an eye on all these fighters who are surrending every now and than. They may still have links with the their former compatriots.

Baluchistan government is free, 18th amendment has passed, but the goons that sit in Baluchistan assembly even bypassed sindh assembly. They are pure corrupt.
A week and corrupt government made people looks towards Islamabad but in Islamabad no body care....
What kind of sick heads these are. They wanted to be the rulers of the country and province yet dont care for the 50 percent of the country.
How difficult is it to improve and develop 1 caror people. Only 1 caror people.
One could do it while sleeping and when the province is busting with natural resources.

35000 government jobs are there with c.m... These jobs would directly influence almost all of the population. But they are unable to hire people without scandle and corruption.
No one has yet been hired yet. Though they have all the positions and funds required to hire those people.

THERE MUST BE SOME LIMIT TO INCOMPETENCY.
EVEN UNEDUCATED PEOPLE, CHILDERN EVEN CANNOT BE THAT INCOMPETENT.
IF ONLY THEY CONSIDER THAT WE ARE EARNING FROM CORRUPTION OF THE PROVINCE, IF ONLY THEY WOULD INVEST 10 PERCENT. BUT THEY ARE EVEN INCOMPETENT TO DO THAT..
