Abdul Malik Baloch may be the best thing that happened to Balochistan. Not very patriotic but not a son or close relative of a sardar or sardar himself. Constantly there have been sardars sitting at the helm as chief ministers. Sarfraz Bugti is very patriotic though-home minister. @DESERT FIGHTER any views?

Sarfraz bugti was a "nobody" till he became a minister and has issues with the Nawab family .. I think he's a Kalpar bugti ..


Abdul malik is a good man .. A former BSO leader and a nationalist .. But he is a weak Chief minister .. And will probably be replaced due to the "deal".

But nonetheless people respect Mr Malik.

Former Defence minister Ch Ahmed Mukhtar was hosting some families from Baluchistan, the people numbered around a thousand or so were driven out by Nawab Akbar Bugti and had sought refuge in Gujrat under Ch Ahmed Mukhtar's patronage as his rivals in his constituency the cahudhary family was very close to Nawab Akbar Bugti since the days of Ch Zahoor Elahi. I often wondered weather the current interior minister of Baluchistan was one of the people who had suffered personally at the hands of Nawab Akbar Bugti.

Would be interesting to see where he ( the city ) lived during the period they were driven out from their home land.
