Bahawalpur gets state-of-the-art amusement park

BAHAWALPUR: The government is committed to extend state-of-the-art recreational facilities by establishing modern infrastructure in Southern Punjab.
Minister of State for Higher Education and Interior Baleeghur Rehman said this while inaugurating the SS World Amusement Park in Bahawalpur on Friday. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Livestock Provincial Minister Asif Saeed Minhas, SS World Park Chief Executive Saad Saeed, and others.
Bahawalpur’s Fawara Chowk restored
He said establishment of Water Theme Park at Lal Suhanra, Forest Theme Park at Lal Suhanra, augmentation and modernisation of Gulzar-e-Sadiq Park, renovation of historical gates of Bahawalpur City, installation of Historical Derawari Cannon and expansion of horticulture landscape of Bahawalpur were the government’s endeavor to upgrade the aesthetic profile of the city.
He appreciated the initiative of private sector of establishing a modern SS World Amusement Park which would facilitate people of the Bahawalpur by providing recreational facilities.
On the occasion, Livestock Provincial Minister Asif Saeed Minhais said the SS World Amusement Park administration had taken comprehensive measures to extend foolproof security to the visitors along with modern recreational facilities.

Later, the distinguished guests gave away commemorative souvenirs to the copartner of SS World Park and architect Muhammad Imran, Contractor Mirza Naeem and Zubair Siddique.
The SS World Amusement Park will provide complete entertainment to the people that consist of indoor, outdoor games and a food court. The park is fully equipped with greenery, water stream, water fall and other recreational activities.
