(Machina-de-combate.com) Lima - RAC MiG's CEO Ilya Tarasenko has stated in an interview with local radio station Echo Moskvy that the aeronautical company is likely to obtain export contracts for the new MiG variant -29, the MiG-35, from Algeria, Bangladesh, India, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Malaysia and Peru.

RAC's top executive MiG revealed that his organization is ready to collaborate with those Air Forces that want to move from the MiG-29 to the MiG-35, which in the process simplifies the work of the logistics chain of these institutions.

Tarasenko also revealed that the life-cycle costs of the MiG-35 are between 30% and 40% lower than similar costs for fighter jets manufactured in other countries. He also indicated that the unit price of MiG-35 is approximately 20% lower.

The MiG-35 has the ability to use any aerial launch weaponry in the inventory of the Russian Air Force.

"We are ready to make it easier for our customers to move gradually from the MIG-29 to the MiG-35. Now, we are working proactively on the promotion of the aircraft. I guess the biggest buyers would be India, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Peru and Algeria, "said Ilya Tarasenko.

The MiG-35 test flight campaign will take about two years. At present the flight characteristics of the aircraft, its control systems are evaluated and it is also tried to prove the effectiveness of the hunting in the use of weaponry.

Mig 35 won't be coming this time I think. With current tender BAF wants the aircrafts to be in service by 2020.

In Mig 35 case it won't be ready for delivery anytime before 2020. 2year in trial + 2 year to supply the whole squadron = 4 years. That's mean we won't be seeing them anytime before 2021.

This time it will be Sukhois, I think.

Yup...the MiG-35 would be very welcome...but, the timeline just doesn't add up.

BDforever bhai, why not read the OP?
Yes RAC CEO told us that:
The MiG-35 test flight campaign will take about two years. At present the flight characteristics of the aircraft, its control systems are evaluated and it is also tried to prove the effectiveness of the hunting in the use of weaponry.

And the trials started this year. And Russia itself won't be inducting it before 2019. The slated timeline for full operational service with RuAF is 2020. Who told me that? Please go visit the Russian section. Plenty of material already posted there.

I am not the most knowable person on military matters. But I do try to use correct informations when I write something. So please cut me a slack.

A CEO of a large company like RAC MiG won't be stating things on speculation only. That being said - there is no indication here that a purchase contract was formally signed or even an RFP was completed and submitted to BAF by RAC.

All we know is that his "company is likely to obtain export contracts for the new MiG variant" (MiG-35) from these countries.

What would he gain by stating this? I don't think RAC MiG is traded on Moscow stock exchange......

Going for mig 35 and j-10 doesn't add up... tender doesn't add up to mig 35...
He is pointing out potential customers... India rejected the jet multiple times by now... this is just desperate attempts by mig bureau to stay afloat. I feel sorry for em.
