J-10A is not offered for export yet and might not come due to current pro hindustani government. Second J-10A has russian engine, russians might not allow the use of this engine for exports hampering their exports, Mig-29 is extremely poor aircraft not maintenance friendly. Malaysians are going to retire them in 2015 where as algeria returned all of them for poor product. In international market spares problem is also the primary concern/problem for mig-29 russians are not good at it.
Flanker su-30 is good but it is also costly and it would be downgraded variant compared to hindustani Flankers or russians.
If ever BAF is offered J-10 they should go for A/B variants the price for A since they would have to refurbish would be low but capabilities good enough doubt in the next 4-5 years though. Other than that they really have no other choice no Boeing, no B.A.E, no Dassault, no Swedish Jass Gripens.

As per your analysis and with current situation in Bangladesh, it will be wise for them to go for used F-16s in between Block-15 OCU to Block-40 at least they will be cheap to have and economical to maintain and they can be MLUed and upgraded as per BDs need and US don't have issues with BD too and India will also be satisfied as they are not concerned with these birds.

Bangladesh asked for F-16's before during the late 80's and early 90's. It was denied even after repeated requests.
U.S. refused to sell F-16s to Bangladesh :: F-16.net

That's what made Bangladesh to go for MiG-29's.

Under the present circumstances, the same will happen.

Correct, the only logical choice should be su-30s and later MLU upgrades though China as russians are bad at it and keeps on demanding more funds above the agreed contract.

Sukhois are just too damn big. Big planes, big engines. They are good planes, but just too big. Not optimal from an operational perspective. There are more efficient planes that are just as capable. And there's that "contract" thingy.

My latter point simply being that the Americans won't supply those warplanes through the current government. Their relationship is not very good with the West. The Russians don't appear happy either.
The F-16 is being evaluated under the current BAF procurement program by the way. Though, something tells me the entire thing won't fly through.

what are Bangladesh treat perceptions? what are its immediate or potential adversaries that need such investment?

Not that many.

At best, one can say that we live in a pretty volatile neighborhood. Bangladesh spends just over 1% of its GDP on defense.

I think we should go with CHinese products...as soon as the make J10s available for export we should go for it!

. . .
It has HMS or simple visor.

I don't know which model of F7 this one is...the BGI version I think has HMS......the visor looks simple here....@Loki @BDforever know better!

The F-7BGI very likely has HMS
