Irrespective of what Baba Ramdev stands for on various issues including corruption or for that matter what ever sense he makes from yoga and preaches them is not the issue.

Baba Ramdev was using a democratic means to communicate his perspective. What the government has done is condemnable and undemocratic. An operation at midnight to evict the protesters is cowardly.

What is wrong with the demands made by Ramdev and his protesters ? He may or may not be corrupt but that is not the f***ing issue.

1. Black money is tax havens around the world should be declared a national asset.

2. This money should be confiscated.

3. The tax evaders should be prosecuted and strong punishment rendered.


The money stashed in foreign tax havens according to conservative estimates is to the tune of 250 Billion. This amount is close to the foreign reserves the GoI has. Is it wrong to meet the above demands.

Imagine what India can do with such a huge catch. Even if India, uses this money to settle the loans from World Bank, we will be debt free. The cause is not a joke. What the government has made out of it is a joke.
