B-2 bombers kill nearly 100 ISIS terrorists in Libya

ISIS is a creation of western colonial policies. From muslim prespective "christian colonialists" have invaded muslim lands and so muslims wage jihad to liberate their lands. But even if ISIS did not existed and muslims were rallying behind communism like vietnamese did, Americans would say the exact shame things to justify their neocolonialism. "communist butchers", "communist cancer must be destroyed etc etc". In the end Americans murder whoever they want and label him as "ISIS" so that ignorant sheep wave "flags of freedom"
ISIS is the Iraqi Baath party transformed.
Before the Iraq War, the Baath party did exactly the same thing vs their own citizens, vs Kuwait and vs Iran.

Now Muslims all over the world use the invasion as an excuse to kill Millions of Muslims,
blaming the West, for them beeing blasphemous evil mass murderers.

The Libya crisis started with people protesting against the genocide committed by Ghaddaffi,
but I guess You support Muslims killing Muslims, if there is a chance to emit verbal poison.

not going to defend any of the jihadist savagery (those bastards deserve the misery) but..

like this ?

and spare us the the kurds' story, he gassed the Iranians too when he was shilling for uncle sam during his tenure as their regional stooge.

that too was all a lie just like the Iraq wmd one, no wonder even Obama regrets that intervention now.

the 'west' has messed up a lot in that part of the world, one last piss on the ant hill and regime change in saudia and that's that, they should stop after that.

That video clearly shows the mindset of ISIS members, even before ISIS was created.
Saddam was no stooge, he made up his own mind.
The US certainly gave him enough support to protect Kuwait, Saudi-Arabia, and not unlikely Israel.
Possibly they also took a chance to get even for the illegal occupation of the US Embassy in Iran.

As for Libya:
This is documented everywhere including:
Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights
http://www.ohchr.org/Documents/Countries/LY/A_HRC_31_CRP_3.pdf

32. The International Commission of Inquiry for Libya described how the Qadhafi period was characterised by decades of corruption, sustained repression to any opposition, and the perpetration of serious human rights violations, often by the very State agencies with the responsibility to uphold and protect those rights.

In 2011, an armed conflict developed after the Qadhafi regime used force against protestors in a reaction to Libyan citizens’ attempts to exercise democratic freedoms. The situation escalated into an armed conflict between opposition armed groups and the Qadhafi regime. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) intervened under a mandate provided by Security Council resolution 1973 (2011) to take all necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian populated areas. In October 2011, the National Transitional Council declared victory for the opposition armed groups. While the Qadhafi regime had been toppled, substantial challenges were left for a country with little trust in State institutions, no independent institutions, nor political parties, nor a judiciary able to provide justice and redress.

Your support for the mass murderer Ghadaffi is noted.

Lol, I'd like to see the video. ISIS savages being blown into 1000 pieces. :)

Unfortunately 20+ years later the Muslims still aren't done spreading lies about the iraqi army, now that is during the fight against isis. Ummah, lol

Even if it was a fake, the iraqi army wasn't an angel either. neither Saddam. The muslims around the world loved Saddam at their time bc he was a strong leader and sunni. but the reality is that Saddam was a Dictator, whatever he was loved by iraqis or not, he's done bad thing and Only God will rly judge him.

That testimony might have been a lie but as far as I am aware of you cannot exactly claim that the Iraqi army was innocent when they invaded Kuwait. They did quite a lot of damage to historical buildings, killed too many civilians and maybe worst of all destroyed much of the environment which Iraq (Southern Iraq in particular) ironically suffered greatly from too.

Anyway I am not an expert on that war or the damages that Kuwait suffered.

@Kuwaiti Girl should know this better than me.

For instance the Iraqi army back then set fire to over 700 oil wells.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuwaiti_oil_fires

"Kuwaiti oil fires set by retreating Iraqi forces during the Gulf War caused a dramatic decrease in air quality, causing respiratory problems for many people in the region"

As for this news, good, but whether it can be verified on the ground is doubtful or whether they were really ISIS as well.

We have heard such news before and afterwards it turned out that civilians were targeted or even allies on the ground.

Him being a Sunni was irrelevant as he was not particularly religious until after the First Gulf War and the "Faith Campaign" began. When he was at his height in terms of popularity and "achievements" he was first and foremost an Arab nationalist. What people also liked, maybe most of all, was the fact that he stood up against the West and Israel and actively targeted/tried to target Israel and Western interests in the region.

This was similar to how Nasser acted 2-3 decades earlier where he was the by far most popular Arab leader. Once again his focus was Arab nationalism and the fight against the West and negative Western influence.

To this day anti-Western rhetoric (as in Western regimes and their actions in the region) are still the most preferred rhetoric among all political groups and terrorist groups. From ISIS to Hezbollah.

Israel is also seen as an extension of Europe and Western politics.

In fact it is mostly only liberals who have a favorable view of the West and much of their discourse evolves around copying the West politically.

Does not matter, it still shows the mindset of ISIS.

Human Rights Watch describes the Nazi style behaviour of Iraqi occupation troops.

Not surprising, when You know that many Nazis moved to the Arab world after WW2

HRW complains about 'abuse' of isis, but you wrote on the Turkish thread that they didn't sign the Geneva convention so it's all good. HRW complains for a living, don't think they'll miss any opportunity for an article.

Maybe they should've just let him run Kuwait and avoid the 1991 war, better for the region today.

ISIS did not sign the convention, so they are not protected by it.
