Turkish “Otokar” company delivered 123 various military vehicles to the Azerbaijan according to agreement signed last year, says the report of Turkish Defense Industry Secretariat on its activity in 2011, APA reports.

Otokar Company sold 35 Cobra armored fighting vehicles, 37 ZPT armored personnel carrier vehicles and 51 Land Rover vehicles within the agreement in amount of USD 20.7 mln.

The report also said that 3 Turkish military companies, including Otokar signed agreement with Azerbaijan late at the end of 2010 in amount of USD 300 mln.

The deliveries are continuing.

According to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute, in February this year Turkey's total steel section exports amounted to 195,250 tonnes rising by 59%

YoY and up 70.9% compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled USD 143.8 million up by 66.7% compared to February 2011 and up 67.6% MoM.

In the first 2 months of 2012, Turkey's steel section exports rose 26.4% compared to the corresponding period of the last year amounting to 309,400 tonnes.
