I was a bit concerned after listening to all the crap on talk shows so I thought to raise them here and see what PDF'ians think

My question is if you think this azadi march will turn into ISIS or extremist / radical type march and will cause civil strife in Pakistan esp punjab.

As we all know extremists / radical tenticals are far reaching in Pakistani society .. If you were one of them one won't you think of no better time than this to strike ...?? it's An open secret that there are a fairly good no of them hiding amongst the masses and can create what they are very good at ( anarchy , slaughter and chaos ) example is the recent Arab spring (Egypt ,Syria , Iraq etc etc ) having a full scale civil war will bring no reforms except death and destruction and i am sure none of us except some fundos want this to happen in This dear land

I think IK's target is the peace in Punjab.

Here is why !!

IK is quiet sore on Punjab his recent statements regarding excesses of Punjab on smaller provinces also PTI's failure in governance and controlling law and order in KPK is getting him and his party leaders increasingly frustrated and may be a little jealous too , I mean he knows Punjab is the idealogical hub of extremism whereas sharifs are enjoying relative peace and prosperity and smaller provinces are paying the brunt of punjabi adventure complete madness and anarchy in the rest of provinces esp KPK.

Or this whole thing could be a bluff to scare sharifs into bringing reforms ?

Hope I m making sense please share your thoughts and don't forget to select an option on the pol please, it's simple there are 3 choices

Select option 1) YES :: if you agree that this march will increase chances of Pakistan falling into extremists hands ie it's a security risk.

Select option 2) NO:: if you think that this march is not a threat to the national security.

Select option 3) it's a bluff :: if you think Ik is pushing sharifs to bring reforms and he may call this thing off

It all depends on both, Dr. TUQ & IK's plans. The real challenge will start when the corrupt Govt. is kicked out, that will be real test for both, but unfortunately both are not united & their differences is a big problem & a space for the corrupt & incompetent politicians to breath.

.
It is a threat to MQM PMLN and PPP type of politics and thst is why followers of these parties are jumping up and down like monkeys

There is division almost every where if there was a large alliance of political parties than may be a bloodless change of govt was possible however this seems like a stale mate and militants might take advantage of the situation

Make NO mistake, this will have devastating effects on your country. IK couldn't govern its own winning state, how could he govern a country with so many issues?
Also, this is a violent movement, the economic situation will get worse and your country will hit a brick wall and may break afterwards. A violent march where people want to bring down the government through violence itself shows how extremist the society is. If there was no economic growth and business progress being made, I could see why people want to protest. But in this case, two small parties want to destabilize a country of over 200 million people. I can't understand how people on here can't use common sense.
I've written a lot over it but you guys have no clue on being nationalistic or even patriotic. So have at it. Readers supporting the stance on "bringing down the government", should read this post a few months from now when you'll be hitting the wall from all sides.
Bringing down a system that's finally started to run, is the craziest thing ever. This mentality exists to begin with because you guys never had a system developed. Same IK goes to the UK and praises the American, British and Indian democratic systems, but doesn't support his own country's institutions to get developed? Common guys, say no to violence as it'll be a no to breaking Pakistan also!

Ppl wont listen mate....even when they know that they are on the wrong side or its pretty much evident that this march would cost dearly.....their ego wont let them budge. Let these guys do what they want....they would be held responsible tomorrow and would be hiding their faces. It would be too late by then but thats the only way these ppl would understand what they did....save your energy

I doubt this will turn anything like the ISIS type militancy. First point being that despite the flaws Pakistan has some sort of democracy, judiciary, Police no matter how corrupt and last but not least strong armed forces . I think this is mostly a political movement from Imran Khan's point of view. I don't what about the Canadian Mullah though, who is pressing his buttons.

Aren't you trying to destabilize the SAME Judiciary, Police, Democracy.....???? This comment above is very contradictory to what's going on in Pakistan. A violent turn in otherwise a better running system is still violent, and so will the changes in the entire system. Radical changes in all of your institutions will follow as a result of extremism focused policies. Don't believe me, read this post a year from now, if these violent government changing actually happened. You'll be sorry that this happened, just in a matter of years. Democracy that is FINALLY setting up its base in your country, needs to grow and needs support from all politicians. One violent turn in your country's political situation will destroy its economy and future. That I am pretty much certain about as history shows you that in the case of Pakistan

. .
Its a threat to status quo and hypocritical politics of PPP PMLN and MQM.

If what PTI is demanding is realized, Pakistan will inshallah be released from the bloody and corrupt clutches of thse above mentioned parties.

British Citizen and yes was an asylum seeker because of your terrorist brethren wouldn't let my family live in peace.

Ouch, I think by mistake I hit it where it hurt the most. Never mind, your mentality is clear from your posts above. Not sure how many posts you've read. I don't have any political affiliation with any of your parties nor do I give a f*ck about your country frankly speaking.
I do care about 200 million people that have been suffering because people like you, sit in ACs and support politicians who commit violence against the system, have nothing to offer to the same group of people who made them the leader, and will STILL end up hanging out with people in the West as they with (like yourself), While the rest 190 million people in your country are STILL without electricity, water, a real political system, living in poverty with so signs of improvements.

.
Thanks to this so called "Azadi march" alot of people are suffering already.Ask those people who want to buy petrol for their car how they are feeling or what they are going through right now. This is just a another attempt by some yahoos to put our country in turmoil AGAIN.

You are a very frustrated old man. I suggest you return to Pakistan and make your own political party. If clowns like Nawaz, Altaf, Imran and Molvi Deisel can find supporters I'm sure you too will find some from the nearest psychiatric hospital.

The same people who sit idle when fellow Pakistanis die, the hypocritical Middle and upper middle class should now face the music. For too long the poor of Pakistan have been killed, starved and stripped of their dignity. Justice served.
