The US wants to play games in the middle-east and start another decade of war . Unfortunately all powers in the mid-east including Iran, Turkey, Arabs, ISIS and other minor players understand this game and will do everything to destroy Kurdish fascism which everybody see as the biggest tool of the neo-crusaders.

ISIS has sworn they would do everything to destroy Kurdish fascism because they believe the Kurds are the greatest assets of the neo-crusaders. I don't support ISIS but they make a prophetic insight when acknowledging the Kurds are honorless pigs which will do everything to destroy the region for their own benefit.

When the Arabs were getting bombed by Assad. TheKurds silently watched them getting massacred. Now they are crying nobody is helping them. Nobody will help them. And the US air strikes will hold off Arabic revenge for so long. They killed all ARabs in Ayn Al-Arab and called it Kobane.

US can hold off ISIS only for so long with air strikes. Then the city will go back to its original name AYN AL-ARAB!

Actually IS renamed the city Ayn Al-Islam.

Ayn Al-Arab means "Arab Spring", which is the correct name of the area. Kurds just want to deny the area its original name to give themselves some legitimacy as part of a Kurdish homeland.

not to put down some of the proud Arabs on here, but the Kurds have a reason to fight compared to the cowardly low morale Iraqi armed forces.

The Kurds will meet IS head on and win with the support of the U.S/UK/and Germany. no boots required. The Kurds will be our Sword and we'll be their eyes and guardian angels

Kurds are weak. We all have seen how the media overhyped their power and when IS came they turned into scared rabbits, Even if your country sent boots against IS it won't go well for you, and your politicians know that, that's why they're keeping it an aerial operation only.

it must be painful for IS to know it's not American soldiers killing them, but probably a Kurdish woman.
ouch.

Kurdish terrorist claim land which they were allowed by other people. You can live on that land but you also have to respect the land. The US is behind this. They want to use Kurdish fascism to start another round of wars, which will hold back the region for the coming decades. This way they can exploit the region for some more time.

Actually ISIS renamed the city Ayn Al-Islam.
Mashallah

The Kurds say there are 200 k fighters... LOL, if it wasn't for US airstrikes they would be in Erbil and Kandil beheading Kurdish terrorists. Anyway, as US knows. The air strikes will only slow time down. Eventually ISIS will take the revenge for the ARabs for Kurdish betrayal. Most of ISIS commanders are from Saddam's time. Eventually the Kurdish communist terrorist will face the music.

no matter what, the opinion of a Turk, Arab, Kurd, Persian and any other ethnicity in the region is way more worth than that of a guy on the other side of the world who merely supports factions based on their interests. no sane ME person supports IS here, but blindly supporting pkk/pyd just because they suit your interests, seem 'secular and democratic' is not the way how the ME works. What @atatwolf said might have sounded exaggerated, but some inrefutable facts are; 1) US (deliberately?) turned the region in a rather uncontrollable mess since 2003 and their following up policies were just tasteless, yet it leaves with its rail between its legs when it comes to bringing troops back. 2) pkk/pyd are on the terror list of the US and EU, yet these powers supported the pyd/pkk openly in ayn al arab with weapons and what not. So yes, pkk/pyd are your assets to maintain influence in the region. 3) US and EU so far wanted to drag Turkey into an active combat role against isis by putting boots on the ground. Combined with all the (past) hypocrisies, injustice and suspicion, Turkey rightfully says no to such a thing. Either we all go in, clean up the whole mess (incl. Assad), or dont expect anything from Turkey. If the US goes after its own interests after 3 years of indecisive action and weak promises in Syria, then expect Turkey to do the same thing.

OT: Official name is Ayn al Arab, so we all should use the official name when speaking on international level. If Kurds would call Iranian/Iraqi/Turkish villages/cities by their local Kurdish name, we wouldnt like that either.

PKK terrorists have murdered couple of anti PKK Kurds, village guards and couple of off duty Turkish soldiers. Nowhere did I see the US media condemning these acts of terror. It seems that US only cares about their own interests and not the interests and wellbeing of their allies. They also don't care about middle eastern people which they have killed over 1 million of them only in Iraq. Also all the bombs they have dropped messed up the genetics of the local people.

ouch.

A Kurdish woman has more heart and courage than an American, and yet they were turned into slaves, just imagine the embarrassment you'll get if your politician were actually stupid enough to send Americans in a land warfare against IS, but luckily for you they're not that stupid.
