Explusion from University is indeed too much but politicizing every place is not good as well. If the student has some political views to follow then do it outside the university. In the rules and regulations of admission the students affirm that they won't take part in any political activity. I think students don't take terms and conditions seriously these days.

Kitno ko nikalin ga, kitno ko marin ga, Kitno ko jail bhajna gain, abb to Her Ghar sa yahi awaz nikalni ha "Go Nawaz Go"

Did you notice the reply?

"Fascism? Not at all. A book ceremony was not the correct time and place to disrupt with a political slogan, so the offender was correctly removed from the hall.". This is called 'maroon ghutna phootey aankh'. Question was about expulsion from the University, answer is 'removed from the hall'. Why you tag such intellectual dishonests?

As long as people do not disturb other people's ceremonies, they can shout whatever they want.

Did you read the OP? The Registrar of the University said to remove the student from the hall.

I Agree, @Norwegian shouldn't tag such people. If people want to comment on it then fine if Not then still its fine, the whole point posting a thread here is to have people's attention to it which is accomplished through simply people viewing this thread.

Explusion is a subsequent event, what was the need to drag personal political views in a public ceremony. But yes when people can politicize any place why not educational institutions. PTIians think that they can drag their political rubbish anywhere, well there are some limitations. I think now NUML should compensate him for his courage by offering him a scholarship and credit transfer.

People have every right too when those ceremonies are done at the expense of the nation. The legitimacy of this government was long over, they are only delaying the inevitable.

No. Decorum of a ceremony at an educational institution means that it is not a suitable venue for political protest.

In normal circumstances i would agree with you but similar things have happened else where in the world like for e.g throwing of shoe at Bush.

Point being when this government is hell bent on basharmi and begarity and even after losing all moral grounds to lead this government, nawaz is still clinching on to power just because he has the backing of other thieves, in such circumstances ends justifies the means and people have every right to show their displeasure wherever and whenever they can.

Bush was at a press conference, which is a political matter. Protest there is different. Causing such a disturbance at a ceremony within an academic institution is simply not correct. You may have have the personal opinion that this government has no moral authority, but that, even if true, is not an excuse for engaging in illegal acts. Preaching such a general breakdown of law and order is preaching anarchy, which is the last thing that can be good for Pakistan.

Fascism? Not at all. A book ceremony was not the correct time and place to disrupt with a political slogan, so the offender was correctly removed from the hall.

The report only says "according to some sources" he has been expelled, but there is no indication whether this is official or not.
