^ I don't get what is this luck thing. Will our luck do anything for us if we just sit at home and don't search any jobs?

Yea contacts /references/recommendations can help us getting a job but it has nothing to do with luck. Many peoples are very smart, clever and confident even when their qualification is minimum while i have seen many peoples with good grades/degrees but lack confidence/aims/passion and even satisy with what they are doing which is below the level of their qualification.
