In another tragic incident, at least 5 soldiers have been reportedly killed and 4 others are missing after an avalanche hit an army camp in Sonamarg, Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).
According to initial reports, the concerned authorities have been alerted and are taking all necessary steps to deal with the situation.
Meanwhile, rescue teams have been dispatched to the site and efforts are on to search the missing soldiers.
There was a snow avalanche warning that was issued for the entire north Kashmir.
Few days back an avalanche had hit a mountain hotel in Italy. Rescuers in the central Italy hotel found 10 survivors after it got buried after the avalanche. Firefighters were able to pull out first a woman and her child, and then three children, as per reports
