Austria Wants To Offload Its Unwanted Eurofighter Typhoons

In which world Tornado and F16 is of same generation? F16 has same or better avionics that Typhoon. Current typhoon doesn't even have AESA radar and uses a pulse Doppler radar. F35 is not even comparable to any of the jet you mentioned it being a 5th gen fighter jet. Your entire logic is confusing.

Typhoon has AESA. Look it up. Captor E.

. .
The first generation typhoons have a lot of problems, including being virtually ungradeable for a decent price... the UK is keeping the original block typhoons as is, ie will not be upgraded.

these are lemons and best avoided and a reason why we in the UK must not do any joing projects with the likes of germans and french.. etc.

Tranche 3 Typhoons are still under production and CAPTOR E is still under development bcz RAF rejected it due to poor performance. Its competitors flaunt much better performance. So far no country has tranche 3 in their inventory which is also the reason countries are dumping older block 1 and 2 due to high upgrade costs.

Austria Wants To Offload Its Unwanted Eurofighter Typhoons, Could this be an opportunity for Paf?

The Austrian Typhoons are all Tranche - 1.
The estimated cost of upgrading Tranche - 1 Typhoons to Tranche - 3 is about the same as buying new Tranch - 3s.
The onboard computers have changed. The internal communications have changed. Most likely the metal parts have changed as well.
All countries with Tranche - 1 wants to get rid of them, and noone is buying
so they are keeping them.

Austria has been trying to sell its Typhoons for many years now. With budget cuts, Austria does not have budget to service Typhoons. Austria does not want any fighter jets.

when you have produced your own aircraft, eurofighters are no match for u except gen 5 aircraft .. think large, think big

Typhoon is supposed to replace Tornado. Tornado and F-16 are same generation. Typhoon and F-35 are same generation.
Can you stop with your BS as always? The Typhoon at most is a 4.5 generation fighter while the F-35 is a baseline 5th generation fighter, and is currently moving to 5.5th gen. Do you even know what it means to be a 5th generation fighter?

So far there is only Indonesia that show interest. @UKBengali bro/sis, does Bangladesh also have interest on the planes.

Indonesia will use the planes for our F 5 squadron if the deal can be achieved, particularly if it is really cheap. The planes still have 20 years operating hours, not bad. All of our F5 planes have all been grounded so the squadron needs the substitution as soon as possible. Buying second hand planes also mean that we will have bigger budget to spend for other pressing needs.

Perhaps the Philippines would be interested. Tranche 1 planes were primarily A2A, and could be a good complement to Korean made T-50s.

TNI-AU already has SU-27, SU-30 and few F-16s. For such a small AF why is another type of aircraft required ?

Are you even aware of how many different variants of F16's are in service?

Just leave him be he is a Russian and thinks everything Russia produces is superior to rest of the world. Only reason he is putting F35 in same category as Typhoon so that he can say SU57 is superior to F35. His comments are usually devoid of logic and reality so let him live inside his small box. I usually ignore his type but sometimes you see stupidity that makes your head hurt and cant ignore.
