Australia's depart of defence stated on their defence website saying that the NH90 transport helicopter was introduced in 2007 for first deliveries but now there is a withdrawn from service info saying that it would be
retired in 2030 and must be replaced by next generation helicopters, but they will stay in normal service by now with further 10+ orders due in early 2016 or 2017. The department of defence said that they would want to find
a next generation capable ready defendable helicopter in order to conduct maritime patrolling in Australian seas or other operations. There is currently no information whether it should be replaced or extended life time in the next decade.
