What britain, the mastermind, is doing here, is to give it's colony (australia) a major boost in naval warfare capabilities. It is doing so, via it's successor (america), in combination with its own advancement in technologies, to establish a dominant presence in the Pacific vis-a-vis China.
The West, which is primarily comprised of the nucleus states, that are america, britain and france. It is gearing up for what can best be described as a confrontation on either ends of the globe. On one side is the South China Sea, which is the area that China dominates with it's capable and growing naval presence. And on the other side, which is the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. This is where Russia has a growing and powerful naval presence.
Whether people of the world want to live in a state of denial, or whether they are just plain stupid to recognize the reality. The dead certainty remains that we are headed for World War lll, at break-neck speed. And it is the West, not the East, that is itching for World War. As the system they created after World War ll is fast eroding away. Today, as things stand, it is the West which has growing unemployment in the developed world, not Russia and not China. Interestingly enough Russia and China stand at two ends of the economic spectrum. One has the second largest population in the world (yes india is now the largest populated country on the planet, who would've guessed that one!) and the second largest economy in the world too. While the other, is the largest land mass country on the planet and is sitting on the largest natural resources reserve in the world (in the Arctic).
Both Russia and China are poised to expand and prosper in the 21st Century, and it can only be called their century since they have positioned themselves, in a well thought tactical and strategic pattern. So one has to ask why would Russia or China, want to start World War lll. The answer is they do not want, nor do they intend to.
Comparatively, the West has plundered the wealth of the world for the last two centuries. And yet, it is the West whose economic woes continue to deteriorate. There is mass unemployment in Europe, where countries like france, spain, portugal and italy have entire sections of young population, sitting at home doing absolutely nothing. Why? Because countries like france prefer to loot and plunder West Africa, fatten their elites more and more. One can witness swathes of french, italians, spanish running across the english Channel to secure jobs. But it is not to say that things in britain are rosey, just that it is far worse in france, spain, portugal and italy. In america, it get even worse, since america does not have robust state support system in place. Hence americans have to work multiple jobs at slave wage rates to get by.
The point here being, that while the elites of Europe, British Isles and North America have prospered and gotten richer while the rest of the population has been driven into poverty.
So it is the West that wants war, not the other way round.
