I met him at JFK airport. He is so down to Earth, that when I saw him he was sitting on the ground. I ran over to give Salaam and he stood up for me. I felt so embarrassed and ended up chatting with him and buying him a mineral water.

This 'Nobel' prize lost it's credits after from a few years, since undeserving candidates were chosen and the rightful ones let down.
Dr. Abdul Sattar Edhi is doing his services for humanity, for Pakistani citizens in the name of Allah, not for any prizes or knight awards.

Allah doesnt judge people by the type of award he gets, he judges by someone's deeds

i dont care if edhi gets fame by winning this award, he will always remain in a pakistani heart and we will always love him for his dedication and love for humanity

people like edhi remind us of our islamic duty to help other people and be kind,

from aljazeera documentary i remember edhi's word 'i only ask donations from pakistanis because i want pakistanis to be a charitable nation, they give whole heartedly, give tens of thousands and dont even ask for receipts this is a good nation just doesnt have a good government'

i wish we had such people alive who have the true soul of a pakistani and witnessed its creation so that our younger generation who likes to be brainwashed by west take some message

i would like people like edhi to become our leader
