You Should Probably Google It But I Remember Clearly That Aghanistan Had Accused PAF Of Violating It's Airspace and Bombing It's Territory Few Years Back.

It's the military as an institution not the commander. The post APS bombing runs have been supposed to be agreed to by the Afghans after the Army's ultimatum.... or so the story goes. Supposedly the attacks could only take place at night and could not be publicised.

Right now the issue is less capability; these attacks are hardly big and clearly poorly thought out, but perceptions. In 2014 we needed to destroy militant targets, today we need to be seeing to be hitting back.. and that has to be publicised.
