Indian military intelligence is in afghanistan since 2002. Indians are training Afghan Intel, who in turn help Baloch separatists and TTP. No need for Indian presence in remote areas, What India does impart funds,training and weapons through NDS plus hosting leadership of such groups in Kabul under the patronage of NDS

NA & its allied warlords control the centre, they have the key cities and locations like Kunar , Nooristan etc the hotbeds of TTP where they their intelligence chief openly met TTP leadership and even bragged about it. ...they have the firepower & logistical support of ISAAF they have the financial backing of all their friends. they can open the "shops" where appropriate.
Afghan Taliban, like I mentioned earlier are essentially gorilla force. they were not conquering territories they were simply disrupting the normal function of the NATO backed regime and making the governance and law an order almost impossible.

All along the afghan border? There are 4 consulates in Afghanistan and two of them are far far away from Pakistan.

So tell me. did we cover the entire Afghan border with only 2 consulates? and incidentally one of those 2 is in the 2nd largest city of Afghanistan.
