Attack on Dardanelles - 18 March 1915

Today is the anniversary of the attack on Dardanelles. This was part of the epic war of Gallipoli.

This is also an important anniversary as super power of its time was defeated by an Empire on the the vane.

On the same shores where the Trojan war happened. The asiatics, defeated the Europeans. Even the war ship they came with was called aggemenon. When Ataturk defeated the enemy, he said: "A revenged you, oh Trojans"

Oh dear nobody forced these young spirits to fight with enemy but they all volunteered with a greater courage and heart than all of us here, they raised under hard circumtances and were very well aware of the situation they are in, life made them man too quickly and they qualified this better than many of so-called men of our times. Nobody cheated them with lollypop, nobody gave them bike, they had no actionmans or playstations, all they had were their homeland and they fight to death for it. Shame on us if we betray the heritage they left...
