What's new

At least 27 killed in Ankara blast, 75 wounded: Turkish authorities

You seriously think any one has any control on situation after war in syria. Even if erdogan wasnt in power these blasts by IS and PKK would still be taking place.
I doubt if we will ever know the true story of Erdo's connections with terrorism in Turkey.

What if there was a bomb blast killing 37 people in the middle of London, Paris, Chicago, Washington, New York, Tel Aviv or Frankfurt?...no show of "HUMANITY" after the blast in the middle of Ankara-
Maybe it would be different if the bombing was in Istanbul? I don't know.

. . .
You will, after his reign is over.
I'm reading a new book, "The Fall of the Ottomans" by Eugene Rogan. A lot of military and some intelligence records of the 1914-end period were deliberately destroyed, sometimes by subordinate commanders. Much history relies on indirect evidence or personal records as a result. Why would Erdo and his gang be any different? Without a "smoking gun" there isn't going to be conclusive evidence, I guess.

RIP to the dead.:(

May they all attain Jannat/Heaven.

My Condolences lie with their families, May Bhagwanatudu(god in my tongue)/Allah give them the strength to go through this terrible period of sorrow & grief:cry:.

------------
& May Türkiye get the Terrorists & make them pay

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I also ask my Indian Brothers & Sisters to wait for some time & then comment on the identity of the culprits to prevent any flame wars or misunderstandings from breaking out. They(terrorists) are not necessarily ISIS or some Islamic terror group
Is there any link between KWP and ISIS?
KWP(Kurdistan Workers Party) doesn't seem very Islamic , forget being ideologically close to ISIS

I heard these guys even believe & support womens rights & LGBT rights :o: Something ISIS is firmly against.

I read somewhere that they support & fund Kurdish militant organisations in Northern Syria & Northern Iraq currently fighting against ISIS. So I suppose they would be enemies, not friends

This happens in South Asia
After some political leaders(who are already in power) lose elections, "mysterious fires" happen in Government offices in some places in South Asia in which valuable files are lost or destroyed which could politcally hurt the outgoing leader
Links, please.

Of course, there are other such means due to which such files are lost.
It's quite a contrast to the Germans, who kept everything through world war and cold war, for example resuming murder investigations in the 1990s from where they had left off in the 1930s.

But then again, Turkey is a mature democracy compared to South Asian nations. I don't think files will be lost so easily here
Turkey was a mature democracy. Now it's an autocracy. Turks didn't value their republic enough to keep it.

By Erdo and his gang you mean democratically elected president and goverment, right? If only turkish ppl could vote for the guys others wanted them to.

on topic, destroying sensitive docs, redacting sensitive infos from files, eliminating paper trail, is hardly something rare. Every gov and secrete service with any brains did/ do it.

South Asian Politicians are very greedy & selfish & idiotic. A cruel combination

This link is about a scam where good & comfy flats supposed to go to war heroes & their families were transferred to politicans
Mantralaya blaze: Controversial files burnt to ashes | Latest News & Updates at Daily News & Analysis

Some files related to irrigation scams too went missing in this.[The irrigation minister during this time is now under investigaion due to corruption charges, some of his fellow party-men & fellow ex-ministers are now in jail]

THis is just one example. If I search for such specific cases, it will take time. But it happens .
------------------------
Here is another example when a ruling party to get a prospective political rival in jail tried to accuse that rival in the murder(what they manipulated to be a fake encounter) of a terrorist(who they called innocent back then.) who had set out to kill him & cause havoc in his state.

Only recently was it found out that she was actually a terrorist. Even more surprising--> the intelligence agencies(IB) back then told them she was a terrorist too, yet they continued calling her innocent & a martyr.
Only recently has this revelation come out

Now important files related to that case have gone missing

In my country,if some leader did something wrong, they Always find out after his reign.
Many examples of ex-PM's getting punished afterwards.

If people wouldnt vote for Erdogan he would be gone the next elections, he couldnt even establish a goverment last year remember, its just that people dont see any alternative, most who vote for AKP expect worse from opposition, you would know what i mean if you actually knew about the opposition leaders.
