You don't need a big rock to make such craters, a rock ~10m in size travelling at tens on thousands of miles per hour is crazy, more force than most nuclear weapons. The rock itself, if it isn't large enough to survive the impact will be vaporised, and if the rock is large, and made out of harder materials, it may survive. Thats why you find some, or you don't.
