what r u talking about assassin's creed is 1 of the best game series i ever played

I am saying if assassin's creed 3 was set in british india, it would have made a better game. Just like the first 2 games

It's releasing this October. What do you guys think? (Even those of you who aren't gamers). I'm
personally quite stoked by this. The storyline in the Asssassin's Creed series is the most captivating
one I've seen in quite a while.

AC-II was the best in whole series and it seems they will shift from norms of other AC games in this new instalment. There will be no glorious cities, just rough terrain and forests

That would probably conflict with the AC storyline as that would imply Desmond also has Indic orgin. Though I think it would be interesting the Assassins could be centered in Peshawar and from their they wage a war against the British and their allies. It's just that it conflicts with the AC storyline.

Now AC 3 will be dramatically different at this era in history many of the guards will probably have firearms. Also I have a feeling the game's setting will be more than just wooden areas. There will be urban environments I would imagine the new settlements, the colonies, probably early New York City 1776, Philadelphia, Boston, or elsewhere. I think this is possible... The game is suppose to have a connection to 2012 so the ending for this one will be a shocker.

Well desmond could have been a portugese from goa or a french from pondicherry, helping the local indic people against the brits or carrying out sabbotage against them.

Anyway the assassin's creed story is getting a bit draggy, i think i will wait until the last installment

Would have been better if the setting was in british india . Compared to the american revolutionary war, this setting is more diverse(race, religion, ethnicity,language, tribe) and more darker(assasinations,alliance, total wars, revolutions) and has deeper history and folklore and its well connected to other parts of the world. Just like AC 1 and AC 2.

A hooded man in an era of minutemen costumes doesnt really fit.

I agree with you on the British India part, the East India Company could have been an earlier version
of Abstergo Industries. But if you look at the series storyline more closely, it all leeds to America in
the end.
