Firstly,Let me tell you Aspide 2000 was also developed during Cold war era.......Not only that F16,F15,Mig29,Flanker,Mirage2000,F 22 all were developed during that era only

Secondly,S-300 SAM was also developed by soviets only....

So just because Akash missile is based on soviet era tech doesn't means Aspide will be superior to Akash...and btw Soviets were way ahead of Europeans when it comes to missile tech..
