That is why I suggested from day one to have emergency imposed so that the basic rights get suspended. Then do the operation and get rid of filth without getting into trouble of human rights and judiciary crap. Extraordinary situations call for extraordinary measures, which people like our Chief Justice and Asma Jahangir cant comprehend.

You seem to be too afraid for giving basic rights to your own citizen. Sometimes I wonder on one thing -- whether citizens are for wellbeing of the Pakistani state or Pakistan State is there for its citizens ?

Instead of fearing human rights, you should strengthen your state organizations. You should make your judiciary in the manner so that any bad/unjustified petition should be rejected by the court rather than withdrawing people's right to go to court !!! Do not be so sensitive on people right to protest in acceptable process. If you take away legitimate route to protest , people take illegitimate routes like anarchy.

Trust me difference of opinion and conflict of ideas ( legitimate) is good for the society as a moderate , "acceptable to all" kind of solution will emerge from synthesis of these contradicting ideas. And with that solution nobody will feel left out. On the contrary , if you impose an idea/verdict to your people ( in a country with huge diversity like Pakistan/India) . A major part of society will be against state & its decision which will be difficult to manage

Please do not think I am supporting PTT anyway. You have to be strong against them. But if somebody like Asma is telling something in legitimate way allow him/her to speak. Equip your state to handle that. You should have learned from your past experience that Army is not the solution in all cases. Strengthen your democracy , strengthen your state, have faith on your fellow citizens
