I can't predict the future but right now, in most of the country, if IK were to give his party ticket to a lamppost, it'd win. Politicians were never his strength as much as they were for other top tier leaders.
Not in Sindh dear, people are not educated only follow the feudals who cater for their day-to-day issues.
Certainly but in general they were PTI seats and even among them PMLN were fighting against each other on several of the seats. Nevertheless, high inflation is rapidly eroding PMLN and IMF bailout hasn't worked either. Not a good time for anyone to take power.
It would seem that feudals are not really catering to the flood affected sindhis day to day issues by stealing their flood relief materials.
One would think that the PDM would get rid of this govt and gladly hand it over to IK to put the burden on him if it weren't for their intense love of the country which forced them to take it from him in the first place.
Ik was in a coalition himself, they can move around as they please as they are an independent party. Earlier General Faiz used to hurl them for any legislation. Zardari cunningly scared the PDM that IK will make the above General the COAS and that will be the end of you. Nevertheless, the PDM folks are now even in a worse predicament as their support base is rapidly eroding.
They want kill the NAB and end their cases of mega corruption..... so they did it ....nation goes to hell.
Do you think general election will end the uncertainty, positions will be defined, clear the horizon and things will fall into place, allowing the economy to slowly get onto track. At this point, one doesn't know who is is govt and who is in opposition. For the first time in history, the govt is hurling blashphemy allegations at the opposition. It used to be the other way around until recently.
They certainly can't have the old chairman back who acted under coercion and put people in jail for months without trial. Many changes were made during IK tenure as well where many PTI stalwarts like Pervaiz Khattak and others benefited and faced no questioning.
