It is a problem in NYC. Bystanders who actually help out have a problem getting even the victim to testify on their behalf if they are injured in the process. Most people are reluctant to get involved.

Asians are racist in terms of their exclusivity and homogeneity. Many East Asians are uncomfortable being around other races and so can display avoidant behavior. It is a problem but it rarely translates to savage beatings and violence against other races. In fact, East Asians are the least violent, the ratio between asians getting attacked vs attacking others is probably 1000:1
