History
Wax resist dyeing of fabric is an ancient art form. It already existed in Egypt in the 4th century BC, where it was used to wrap mummies; linen was soaked in wax, and scratched using a stylus. In Asia, the technique was practised in China during the Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD), and in India and Japan during the Nara Period (645–794 AD). In Africa it was originally practised by the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria, Soninke and Wolof in Senegal.[10] These African version however, uses cassava starch or rice paste, or mud as a resist instead of beeswax.[11]

since you can't read, I don't blame you.
Read the whole wiki page, and tell me what's the history of wax dyeing.
and by the way, do you know the difference between origin and tradition?
Misinformation is misinformation, unless you haven't graduate from junior school.

1. How is batik understood and defined?

FireShot Capture 046 - What does batik mean_ - Quora - www.quora.com.png

2. Is Batik an Indonesian exclusive trademark and not used by another country?

The word batik is Javanese in origin. It may either come from the Javanese word amba ('to write') and titik ('dot'), or may derive from a hypothetical Proto-Austronesian root *beCík ('to tattoo'). The word is first recorded in English in the Encyclopædia Britannica of 1880, in which it is spelled battik. It is attested in the Indonesian Archipelago during the Dutch colonial period in various forms: mbatek, mbatik, batek and batik.

Nothing words in China resemble batik

Don't worry his time will come, I'm sure his [real] name is on some intelligence officer list of potential traitors.:partay:

I got him since his time lurking in Kaskus formil. It just not ethical to spread it here.

.
1. No other country in the world says "Batik is not originally from Indonesia"

2. China has similar technology to Batik for a long time, before Indonesia. And China has never said the concept of "Batik" was invented by them. They just said, "Batik is a traditional craft common among ethnic groups in China."

3. If Indonesians call China a thief, then Indonesians are also thieves, having learned technology from other peoples, innovating, renaming it and recognizing it as their monopoly. And give themselves the right to call a nation a thief when using the concept of "Batik"
