Owaisi comes from a family loyal to the nizam of hyderabad state and had a ruthless disdain for Sardar Patel and the local majority population.

You really think he is up for improving the fabric? His speeches, his private interviews and his soft spoken Urdu lines hide a very foul side of his which is far worse than ISI or enemy states.

The difference is that, those organizations are condemned for being communal, while Owaisi mingles freely with 'secular' political parties. 'Hindutva' or the right wing Hindu communalism is reactionary in nature, it has grown because of this legitimization of the communal minority politics.

2. Hindutva brigade is barely a political force in India, and so called secular parties lose their moral highground by joining forces with Islamic fundamentalists.

3. Owaisi brothers are the representatives of the original communal powers of the Nizam of Hyderabad, that call for murdering Hindu population of Hyderabad in 15 minutes if police are removed came from that legacy.

4. Educated Muslims are as rich or as poor as any Indian, for the rest, blame their mullah-driven regressive society that prefers madrasas over free govt. schools, prohibits education for girls, prohibits contraceptives on religious grounds and breeds 20 children that they can't raise properly....everyone is responsible for their own state of life.

Zia and CIA (US) deliberately did this to produce more fighters for the Charlie Wilson's war against soviets and their success proved short lived and know we are cleaning the mess created in those days which so far claimed innocent 60000 Pakistani lives and probably millions in Afghanistan. We should disassociate politics and policies from religion because we are living in a global village with different people with different beliefs and religion, you can't impose your views on other.
Unfortunately religion is playing big part in the subcontinent's politics and the result will be more catastrophic. ISIS's evil lurking this subcontinent like a vulture waiting for the death.

South Asia needed a leader like Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, but after independence we got leaders who were either too shaky to limit the reach of religion in political affairs (till 70s / 80s), and after that either used the religion as a tool in politics (in India), or used it for foreign policy and military affairs (in Pakistan). Btw, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was much influenced by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, maybe he could have made a difference if he had a chance, but that's just speculation, and subject to debate.

Brother when cunning British left they make it sure that the leader they chose for rule over their colony never go for secularism or socialism, they left but imposed on us their policies.
Mr. Jinnah was liberal but forced goons planted by British to choose more Islamic look he even change his attire but from heart he is not but unfortunately he have to adopt it. Same way Mr.Gandhi had quite socialist approach and as a result ultra right wing killed him.
British deliberately creates wide gapes between Muslims and Hindus so that they never live indecently even left Kashmir issue unintended.
And still today we are buying weapons from them to prepare fight each other depriving billions of people even daily food and water.

we were until Zia.. Afghan Rafugee... Shia revolution in Iran ,,,,Saudi terrorism in Pakistan... but today Neither India is a perfect example for above mentioned qualities nor is Pakistan.. but no one can accuse us of mass killings like India where thousands of sikhs were burned alive after indhira Gandhi's death.. Gujrat riots.. Mumbai riots etc

It is not a right yet but is part of the directive principles of the constitution based on which each state derives the power to enforce/implement the ban if the state deems it appropriate.

I was talking about Islamic Civilization--which was the first ever global civilization of human race and extended from Spain to Arab World--from India to Anatolia--From Indonesia to Cental Asia--and so on.

Only other civilization that can be compared to Islamic Civilization is West. That's it. No other civilization achieved such great heights and global influence everywhere.

Both West and Islamic World are still the largest/most powerful civilizations of the world and will remain so forever (since no other civilization has chance to arise--since humanity has reached its apex in terms of expansion, territorial conquests, and population growth rates).

In terms of size and global presence, Islamic World is largest civilization of today--West is most powerful.

But what would a person of backward, uncultured land know about high civilizations? Hell, hinduism was gang r@ped by superior Muslims first--then Westerners. lol. Even now your country has more Muslims than entire Russia has christians.

Why are you glorifying the invaders??? They killed most of your ancestors to satisfy their egos. You may be proud of these intruders for introducing Islam but no need to demean other religions which are native to this land. When you do that you just lost your argument with us natives. Through out history great civilizations came and disappeared including Islamic and Christian civilizations because these expansions of territory was dependent on rulers maintaining huge armies and administration of their colonies. It was always difficult because of vast distances and rebellions. Even the british had to let go of their territories because after a while they realized that they cannot sustain them.

When you talk about global influence then Hinduism and Buddhism achieved that mostly through trade. Influence of Hinduism and Buddhism can be seen in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, China, Malaysia and Mongolia.

thanks for the tag and i would have liked to say something here but i have taken a break from political discussions, as you will see in my announcement thread in "members club".

but from now on, after i am in a frame of mind to begin talking of south asian politics, i will begin tagging you in the threads i create about this region.
