Talking in a TV show, Asad responded to a question about ISPR chief’s presser denying a conspiracy, saying the army spokesman had only said the JCSC and all services chiefs were present in the meeting and he did not say what their opinion was.

دفترِ خارجہ کے ترجمان نے بی بی سی کی نامہ نگار فرحت جاوید کو تصدیق کی ہے کہ پاکستان نے کینیڈا کے ہائی کمشنر کو طلب کر کے انھیں اس ضمن میں احتجاجی مراسلہ دیا ہے۔
کینیڈا کی پارلیمان سے 17 جون کو ایک ایسی ویڈیو سامنے آئی تھی جس میں رکنِ پارلیمان ٹام کمچ کینیڈا کے وزیرِ دفاع سے سنہ 2020 میں جنرل باجوہ کے منسوخ ہونے والے دورہ کینیڈا سے متعلق سوال کر رہے ہیں۔
اس سوال کے دوران ٹام کمچ مختلف نوعیت کے الزامات بھی عائد کرتے دکھائی دیتے ہیں۔
ٹام کمچ اس ویڈیو میں کہتے ہیں کہ ’کینیڈا کی وزارتِ دفاع کی دستاویزات سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ 2020 میں جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ کا مجوزہ دورہ کینیڈا، عوام کے ٹیکس کے 50 ہزار ڈالر سے منظور کیا گیا تھا، لیکن اس دورے کو کووڈ 19 کے باعث منسوخ کر دیا گیا تھا۔‘

ان کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ ’کینیڈا کے ایک اسسٹنٹ نائب وزیر نے اس دورے کو مناسب قرار دیا تھا۔ کیا وزیرِ دفاع بھی اس رائے سے اتفاق کرتے ہیں کہ جنرل باجوہ کے دورے پر 50 ہزار ڈالر صرف کرنا مناسب ہے؟‘
اس کے جواب میں پارلیمانی سیکریٹری قومی دفاع برائن مے نے کہا کہ ’میں اپوزیشن رکن (ٹام کمچ) کی بات سے اتفاق کرتا ہوں کہ یہ صورتحال غیر مناسب ہے۔ میں اس حوالے سے موجودہ صورتحال سے آگاہ نہیں ہوں۔ میں مزید تفصیلات حاصل کرنے کے بعد رکن کے ساتھ بیٹھنے کے لیے تیار ہوں۔‘

رکنِ پارلیمان ٹام کمچ اس سے قبل بھی پاکستان کے حوالے سے کئی بیانات دے چکے ہیں اور سنہ 2018 میں پارلیمانی کارروائی کے دوران انھوں نے پاکستان میں مبینہ ’انسانی حقوق کی پامالیوں‘ کے خلاف قرار داد بھی پیش کی تھی۔
انھوں نے ہاؤس آف کامنز میں کہا تھا کہ پاکستان کی حکومت پر دباؤ ڈالا جائے کہ وہ اقلیتوں کی حقوق کی حفاظت کریں اور امتیازی سلوک کے قوانین کو ختم کریں اور پاکستان کو ملنے والی کینیڈین امداد کو انسان حقوق کو یقینی بنانے سے مشروط کریں۔

Why Imran khan asked them?? He should form a judicial commission, which he is demanding today, on March 08.

He formed the commission under Gen Tariq but he was stopped by some forces to chair the comission

It was formed just two days before VONC, it was seen as delaying tactics. He refused to head the pointless commission.
