Gotta admit, I wouldn't mind owning an Aircraft Carrier.

Yea, that's one of my dreams too lol. Like somebody else already said, it's like owning your own private movable island!

As far as military use though, I think something in the class of the Invincible is just not very useful for most big militaries these days.
 
Yup. We believe you. Thats exactly what the military said when someone bought the Varyag.

Which was true. It was sold at an auction to a company in Hong Kong.
 
I would love to own Invinsible and let it travel in internatonal water, and have casino, night clubs, wines and women etc etc. Customers can fly in on deck and check in to our floating paradise island for their dream holiday.
 
The flying in part (maybe on helicopters) alone would be something to boast about.
 
I highly doubt that. Today even British new carrier is going to be assembled by Chinese cranes, what is the point for Chinese to buy an old British carrier?
