What's new

As India tells Pakistan it will only talk terror, PM Narendra Modi’s core advisors mull next steps

Is IWT on the table,we should scrap the old agreement and have a new agreement or scrap it all together ,the old one is completely in favor of Pakistan.

.
We can consider giving you most of the above required people, if (1) you can prove they're in Pakistan; (2) resolve water dispute amicably with Pakistan; and (3) let there be plebiscite in Kashmir and let Kashmiris decide for themselves who they want to join or independence, as per their wishes.

On a serious note, most of the names above seem to be coming out of a B-grade movie cast. (Now don't accuse me for watching B-grade movies).

PS: We know Lal Topi is the one who annoys Indians the most. Which is why he's our favourite pet. Whenever we see a rat, we just point him in it's direction and let him go ballistic.

1 - We don't want any of them... just find them and shoot them between there eyes --- and don't tell me that you didn't went through the list as Establishment before replying else you would be knowing where

Hafiz Saeed,
Lal topi
illays Kashmiri
Mh. Yusaf Shah; Salauddin are in Pakistan... :D
They are normally found in Pakistani courts attending there hearing for various cases against them.

2 - we too want to resolve the water dispute, lets devolve the IWT and go to the international standards to draft a new treaty.. but before that do check what you will gain and what you will loose, IWT is most generous treaty in the world.

3- There is a non binding resolution on Kashmir by UN, That was overwritten in Shimla agreement, and if you still want to implement UN resolution - Ask China to return the land that you gifted to them, bring the demography back in P0K and GB pre 1947, move all armed forces, state and non state actors out of the disputed P0K and GB and then talk... that is the pre-requisite for the plebiscite..
Let us know when you are prepared to do so..

Back to square one. The story of Pakistan and India.

Seems the current stance of Pakistani establishment best suits it's plans in the current and interim period. Ignore Indian rants, concentrate internally, keep strengthening itself and tell them to go F*** themselves.

Same goes with India, keep Pakistan engaged with it's internal situations, isolate it internationally and keep Increasing the military and economic gap between India and Pakistan. in short - keep strengthening itself and tell them to go F*** themselves

which terror state terror or cross border ? lolllz these politicians do not want india pakistan solve the issues . both sides have stupids

.
It's not some food joint in US you may want to name it Indian (for obvious reasons), we are talking of terrorism, so be precise and true and give Pak the credit where its due.
Your dot headed warriors are causing mayhem in Kashmir. The people don't like you, so you should have enough shame to leave these people alone.

.
I am not sure why we are mum on the question of terrorism. Our stance should be, yea no problem, we want to discuss the Indian state sponsored terrorism inside Kashmir in particular and Pakistan in general.

Lets call their bluff.

.
If we go with recent history, give this modi government some time.

In a few months they would be back talking Kashmir with us.

Yes definitely including pakistan occupied kashmir :D

Is it just me or does it seem as though this horse and pony show is entirely by design by the the Indian side? One minuet the talks are on, next they are off, NSAs are meeting, PMs are hugging then accusations are hurdled, harsh language is used, sensitive issues are brought up, rinse and repeat.

It is clear the "Pakistan problem" is unsolvable so what is the next best thing? Appearing to be eager to solve it whilst pursuing your own interests.

Whilst Pakistan's focus is bogged down with India's internal issues and their own, India is actively expanding its ties with Pakistan's histroic/tradtional "friends" and is growing faster than anyone else.

And what is Pakistan's most sensitive issue, the one that would cause them to fully lose their minds, the one guarenteed to grab their attention......Balouchistan. And what has Modi suddenly started to take great interest in?

It's traditional urge of BJP's right wing burden to disprove the world that they have anything against Pakistan. Vajpayee did it, Modi Succumbed to it. Complete dis-engagment which i advocate will bring clouds of Right Wing hard-line bias against Pakistan with the undertone of anti-Muslim. BJP on an international stage is always apprehensive of that.

Engagement with Pakistan in current environment is nothing but waste of diplomatic capital which could yield better results if invested elsewhere.

Bro I'm a little confused. Are you implying that BJP is pursuing an agenda of international isolation. Or it Pershing an anti muslm agenda.
I mean what's the Crux here

Disclaimer to begin is I am not an expert in foreign policy, and have a read not a 100 books to validate my stance with smart quotes.

My (un-educated) take which I think i am entitled to, has been with the given attitude of the Pakistani military, We should completely disengage from dialogue on all issues, and just maintain transit and travel relation.

Current (last 10 years ) effort on engaging Pakistan in bilalteral dialogue is a waste of time and we will benefit from diverting the diplomatic effort to BIMSTEC and Africa instead.

NDA's Pakistan policy is more or less similar to what UPA had where intermittently they put effort in bilatral fronts, BJP is the one that tries a bit too hard (Vajpayee on a bus yatra, or the Modi on Sharif family wedding) and this primarily stems from their Right wing baggage.

This entire blah blah of talks in terror is indeed a dog and pony show. State sponsored terror is a known, state mandated and state controlled policy that pakistan uses as a cost effective measure to engage Indian Forces. We should stop this non-sense and just ignore Pakistan. Continue with our security measures and do whit we see fit to mitigate the risks posed by asymmetric threats.

No issues. Since there is not much to discuss about AJK we can talk about it for 5 minutes and then for rest of the time we can discuss IOK where the real problem is.
