I may be wrong but I was under the impression that non-,Muslims are not allowed in the two places ie. Makha and Medina. Or at least that was the case when I was there last.

It is permissible for them to enter Medina but i think they are not allowed to enter inside the Prophet's mosque. Makkah is a strict no no for non-Muslims
