North Indians don't hate south Indians and vice versa, but they consider them a little ugly. There isn't that much Aryan pride among general public in India, except in RSS, etc.

'Aryan' is not a Sanskrit word, 'Arya' is a Sanskrit word. 'Aryan' is a English derivative of Sanskrit 'Arya'. I agree this term is misused and abused by westerners a lot. Only people whose mother tongue is/was Sanskrit should use it.
