The chinese themselves call Arunachal as "south Tibet" :cheesy:

They get another bargaining chip during negotiations with India.

Similar to the chip that pakistan gets while sponsoring terrorism in India. Similar mindset, similar tactics.

Funny that you are so blind to the obvious.

Your fellow pakistani has already posted the proof and the photograph. So my only question is, are you blind ? :cheesy:

Wow and a regional power like China need to contaminate the river to get the bargaining chip. Nice try
And contamination might be because of any other natural reasons as well. Or please look for any Indian factories nearby if they aren't contaminating the river before proceeding to usual randirona . @Areesh @war&peace check this shit lol

LOL...what natural reason ? These "natural reason" did not exist for 100's of years and now suddenly they have appeared ? :cheesy:

There are no factories in Arunachal, its part of the Himalayan mountain region and if you are going to claim that there are Factories in the Himalayan Mountain ranges, then you are a bigger fool than I thought.

I would say that it should be investigated by neutral experts and then they should decide. India is very keen on taking cases to ICJ so why does it not take it to ICJ...

The East Siang district authorities have pressed the alarm bell as the water of the river, containing large volumes of heavy slag, is no longer fit for consumption. It is suspected that some major cement work is on in the upper reaches of the river in China.

Slag in Siang water.
GUWAHATI: The crystal clear waters of the Siang river, considered the lifeline of northern Arunachal Pradesh for centuries, has suddenly turned dark black triggering panic in the frontier state.

The East Siang district authorities have pressed the alarm bell as the water of the river, containing large volumes of heavy slag, is no longer fit for consumption. "The water can't be used for any purpose because it contains a cement-like thick material. A lot of fish died one-and-half months ago," said East Siang district deputy commissioner Tamyo Tatak.

He added, "In the last monsoon season, the river turned dark and we thought that it was because of mud being carried by the river. The rainy season is long over but the river water is still black. From November to February, the water is crystal clear and pure. Even my grandfather has never seen or heard of such a thing happening to the waters of the Siang."

TOI photos. Tatak said water samples have been collected by the central water commission and China is the primary suspect.

"It seems that some major cement work is on in the upper reaches of the river in China ... may be China is carrying out some deep water boring work. What else could be the reason for such a big river, which becomes the Brahmaputra, remaining black in colour for nearly two months," Tatak said. The Siang is the principal constituent river of the Brahmaputra and flows for 1,600 km through southern Tibet as the Yarlung Tsangpo or Yarlung Zangbo before entering India.

Siang is also known as Dihang in India, which joins the Lohit after flowing for 230 km. The Dibang joins at about 35 km downstream of Pasighat in East Siang district to form the Brahmaputra. Tatak said he has submitted an independent report to the Arunachal government describing the situation.

India's worst fears are from Chinese plans to dig a 1000-km tunnel, the world's longest, to divert the Yarlung Tsangpo river from Tibet to Taklimakan Desert in Xinjiang. However, China has denied having any such plans.

what does deep under water boring means? What exactly is China planning to get from it @django
Bro it is funny how the Indians are constantly bragging about diverting and blocking the Indus, it seems the Chinese have them by the throat:lol:, how can the Indians possibly complain at international forums like UN, ICJ etc when they are in the process of doing the same with Indus (which will mean total war), China has great leverage of these Indians and this certainly does not break my heart lol......digging tunnels to divert the flow of water "water boring" will make the arid Xinjiang into a potential oasis, I totally understand and applaud the Chinese IF they indeed are carrying out this project. Kudos bro

Be careful what you wish for.

The day we are convinced that china is no longer respecting our rights as a lower riparian river partner, is the same day the Indus river water treaty dies.

Then no amount of threats can make us change our minds.
