I thing BJP should ready all the bills like 370, land reformation and whatever for the greater sake of country and pass it with voice vote. That's it. After that who cares who comes?

Dada, if BJP succeeds in getting those issues sorted out in legislature, they would've taken care of most contentious issues in their manifesto and for voter like me, they can remain assured of my vote to them.

But the larger question which stuck me reading the article was status of citizens of state who moved from Pakistan and still don't enjoy full set of rights. In larger context special treatment given to state of J&K must now progressively be withdrawn. Times have changed and unless J&K is treated at par with other states, it is a disadvantageous position to both Central and state governments, economically and administratively.
A lot of people tend to associate article 370 removal with Right wing Hindu politics which i guess is very unfair. The issue is that of country's federal structure and unless all citizens are treated at par, don't think its a healthy situation for us to be in for very long.
First step imho should be allowing citizens to freely purchase land in state, for this single step could bring a big change. Rest could follow.

It is time both 35A and 370 is thrown into dustbins. Yes the separatists will make noise. But the noise is not something new, they have been doing it since last one year. Let people for allover India settle in Kashmir.

Who gave the 'word' then? Definitely not the lawmakers who represent people of INDIA...when word was not given in the first place...how can it be taken back?

because J&K is not a 'state'.... why do you feel victimized by an arrangement that was already agreed... if anything JK people should be upset by slow eroding of the deal given to them..
we can always have another go. remove these deals and sign another one ... I doubt we will get better one..

so this is how I see it... your company wanted a factory on my land.. i wanted to sell my land... your CEO did a deal by paying the price plus sweetened the deal with job for my son... fast forward to 10 years your CEO was sacked due to financial misappropriation... and this deal came into picture... you sacked my son...

from my point of view, your CEO doing something wrong is hardly the reason for me being punished.. to rub salt you claim that my son has better future in other companies and you let him go so that he can 'achieve his full potential'...
the only way is for my son to voluntarily resign and we both do a new deal.. but then.. am just a farmer and have no financial muscle to enforce it.
