Tekken featured 1,899 players at EVO this year all trying to fight their way into the Top 8 and a piece of the $18,990 prize pool.

Pakistani player Arslan 'Arslan Ash' Siddique - who was the surprise winner of the Tekken tournament at EVO Japan 2019 in February accomplished the same feat in Las Vegas.

Out of the 19000$ prize pool, the 1st place winner gets 60% of the winnings which is around 11400$. The final match just finished about an hour ago so the footage of the match will be uploaded later. The live stream was watched by more than 200,000 people on twitch.tv and there was huge crowd in the arena as well to witness the final match of Arslan Ash(Pakistan) vs 'Rox Tigers' Knee (South Korea).

Congratulations to him and I love the fact that he has done all this alone. May Allah bless him with more successes. One truly dedicated and determined guy. This indicates to the immense talent we have in our young people. We need to channelise this talent in positive direction.
