Arrest warrants issued for Imran Khan, Tahir-ul-Qadri

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court on Tuesday issued non-bailabale arrest warrants for PTI chief Imran Khan and PAT chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.

According to details, the ATC held proceedings for the Asmat Junejo assault case. The court ordered DSP Idrees Rathore himself to oversee that the warrants were made.

The arrest warrants were issued by Anti-Terrorism Court judge Sohail Ikram.

SSP Asmat Junejo had sustained injuries when a crowd of protesters participating in the sit-in protest by PTI and PAT, beat him up. The protesters used sticks and batons when they thrashed SSP Asmat Junejo.

As per the anti-terrorism provisions, a case was registered against Imran Khan and Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, who were leading the protest movement against the Sharif-led government. The provision of anti-terrorism due on which the case was registered were assault on a uniformed officer and interference in the government's operations.

The dharna protests featured many clashes as PTI and PAT loyalists staged a sit-in protest outside the parliament against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for allegedly rigging the 2013 general elections. PTI had called off its protest after the Army Public School Massacre on 16 December, 2916 as a mark of respect for the children slain and for solidarity with the government in a time of crisis.

That is good; these idiots need to realize that running around with mobs, making a complete mess, intimidating bystanders and destroying local infrastructure isnt going to get them anywhere. They are doing more harm then good; IK and Tahir are seeing they're losing momentum and popularity and are now resorting to this same shit again.

They need to wait their damn turn and fight for elections when the time actually comes; it is something we all agreed to - it is democracy.

I always think that these boyses apply democracy on people who really dont know what democracy is even though these politician donot know exact of democracy. In my opinion if you want to implement democratic rule then you people should be literate enough to know its meaning.
