hello sir , i guess you got it all wrong . i never met a single person who is anti pakistan in my country but met many who feel china (not the chinese people ) is an enemy country ( and then i laugh and ridicule them as they use mobiles too) . definitely china has become more strong in past 2 decades as mentioned by the general in the interview but that does not mean she is invincible .

What India still can't seem understand is that countries want friendly, peaceful and equal and fair relationship with other countries. That is what China is offering and all these independent South Asian countries welcomes such offer. Also, these South Asia countries have experienced strong-armed tactics from India that they want to form good relationship with China to prevent further Indian "bad intents".

I wish we could deny the fact, but this would remain unchanged until the Kashmir issue is resolved. Though, no research needed on this but you can visit PEW research website for symmetric survey. By the way, why India think China is their enemy? In my personal view, it's just an excuse for military buildup and financing because they think they no longer justify their military buildup in context with India-Pakistan conflict, so, they just need tell world they are facing bigger enemy. China would never want conflict with India for several reasons: 1. it will damage its repute and will slow its pace in competition between China and USA; 2. terrain along with China and India isn't really good for battle ground for both nations but in traditional war India might have advantage if it exploits population in Tibet.

However, same advantage can be exploited by China on the other side of border too if joins hands with its neighbors like Bangladesh and Bhutan - that what general is talking about.

In my country, when people talk about India. We were very friendly. Foreigners will not tell us about India. so india no Dalit, no 18 million modern slaves, no 420 thousand child labor, no cheap hourly salary, no more hungry than North Korea, no cheap life expectancy...

Like I said before that is exact reason China wouldn't like itself bothered. I never said China wouldn't be able to counter India, there is no doubt China is able to defend itself - I just said that terrain isn't suitable for battle ground and that is why China is focusing on string of pearls more than ever before. Some wise person once said, "hit where it hurts". You know their soft spots, you're exploiting them already and that is what they are worried about.
