CAG accuses Army chief for funds misuse

The Comptroller and Auditor General(CAG) in its report has accused Army Chief V K Singh of misusing financial powers to sanction golf club construction.

The report finds financial irregularities during Gen Singh's tenure as 2 Corps Commander.

The army staunchly defended the chief and has replied that Singh didn't misused funds and appropriate deviation sanction was taken for golf club construction.

It said that it will reply to CAG report soon.

Who is denying the corruption in Pakistan???? Pointing on Pakistani Generals won't justify the acts V.K.Singh!!

I had to comment on how rich Mr.Musharraf and all the previous generals of Pakistan retired as Millionaires not because a Pakistani brother high-lighted a case of possible corruption. He gave wonderful analysis of how "un professional" indian army is. I was presenting, if that were the case having knowning about Millionaire Retd Generals of Pakistan would he rate them "Un professional" as well?
