You do realize 45% of the army are placed in the Pakistani & loc border. Logically India can mobilise or respond way faster than Pakistan can.

That is still considered a segment of the Indian military - due to India's geographic size; the active amount of soldiers India can deploy is half that of it's overall force and if you think India can mobilize and respond faster then you are very mistaken.

A smaller force is much more flexible and has the capability to deploy much faster; especially if they are divided into smaller units.

You should've learnt this lesson from 2001 and 2008; in which Indian forces took weeks to mobilize while Pakistani forces were mobilized, deployed and even dug in within days. Not to mention 1,874 Indian Soldiers died trying to get to the border alone. India heavily lacks the capability to mobilize and any offensive war would lead to a logistical nightmare for India.

If India wanted to invade it would have done it long ago , the reason for the simla agreement in 71 was to prevent a another war . The closest thing of the invasion India could do is take over mountain posts for strategic advantage .

What is the Cold Start doctrine about? Any false flag attack in India could be blamed on Pakistan and thus justifying their invasion of Pakistan.

Heh, we saw India's shuper duper invasion capabilities in 2002 when 1000 Indian soldiers died while simply mobilizing at the border. Just think.
