Armed Fennec helo for Pak army

Despite the initial reports that the Philippines will receive up to 10 AS-550 Fennec armed helicopters from France, it seems that the offer has been withdrawn by its manufacturer due to new procurement negotiations with the helicopters’ original customer, the Pakistani Army.

Those helis are in the AH-1F Cobra class, an Attack helicopter...the Fennec is going to be used in a scouting role, the Bell 206 Jet Ranger is currently used in the scout role by PA.

Pakistan has already bought these helos, we got them, but then they were returned for some modifications.

Hardly- the PA as had such helos for a while now and that did not come into India's thinking when launching its own LUH procurement in fact the Fennec was said to be he front runner before it was stalled. For tactical equipment like helos there's no need to cut off your nose to spite your face and not go for certain helos just because your neighbour uses it- Paksitan and India both use Mi-17s, Allouette IIIs and Sea Kings for eg.

Yeah dude i know that PAA is having fennec but i read that they are having U2 variant only not a c2 and c3 variant. actually variant PAA is using now.

Well Dude no problem which one that IA gets but i personally love ka 226 especially for its interchangeable mission pod which allows various accommodation and its sexy and its advantageous coaxial rotors but only concern is its damn hard to maintain.

Off topic- id rather India continued its move away from Russia for all but the essential equipment joint 5th gen fighters and joint MTA projects. Everything else India can get better stuff from the Europeans and the West, yes it will be more expensive but the equipment won't come with the same issues as the Russian products.
