Excellent choice for president!

.
If he was not made President of PK, UK would have granted him asylum because he's subjected to genocide in PK.

It is irrelevant as to who the President is, as the Presidency is unfortunately a ceremonial position only. Thanks to our corrupt politicians who removed all checks and balances from the system. I really wish Imran Khan would amend the constitution to bring a presidential system or at the very least bring back a system of checks and balances by restoring some presidential powers like in France and assuming the Presidency himself. Unfortunately he neither has the foresight or votes to do so.

.
Watched few of his previous interviews. Seems like a level headed guy. Best of luck to him. Hope he continues to highlight his initiatives for clean water in Karachi or at least keeps an eye on it.

.
Interesting note, it was Nawaz Sharif who removed all powers from the president after the president removed him from his first term for corruption.

Arif fit the bill. He has been with PTI since 1996. He's urdu speaker and as we saw in ceremony this will be much needed in 2023. From now on president of Pakistan shall always be urdu speaker.

President became a joke in 90's for that very reason. We are not mature enough. Government must complete 5 years no matter what.

Why PTI want to loose 1 more seat in NA. They already have some short of numbers

They will gain a total of 10 seats in byelections both Karachi seats will be easy only Lahore has me worried
