Are we afraid of Bangladesh: Subramanian Swamy questions BJP's silence on attacks on Hindus

Bangladesh and India are strategic allies and brothers...... There is no reason for both of them to feel scared of each other..... Cheap attention seeker swami let him bark as usual.....
Brothers? Hahaha...

Ask PPP , they will explain you!

But ask them as a loyal supporter of PPP , otherwise you may not get the real answer!

Who said anything about PPP? you posted perhaps the most idiotic post I have ever seen on this forum...

That east Pakistan had more disputes with India compared to West Pakistan. I simply gave you the answer that is false. Kashmir, Siachin, sir creek, etc were all on the western front. The east pakistan front saw very minimal conflict before mukti bahini RAW terrorist were sponsored.

If you had said something like... East Pakistanis supported MUSLIMS LEAGUE/Pakistan more than west pakistanis, id agree with you because that is true. but what you said is pure idiotic and false.

Bettamij pahle manner sikkho uske baad batain karne ke liye ao.

For the rest , main tumhara baki post nahi read kiya. Pahle zara tamiz shikh kar ao, unke baad batein ho sakta hain!

Ignore that stupid guy. You are right about treatment of minorities.

What BS. Its quiet the opposite. It was always west pakistan that had a border/land dispute. So dont know where that logic comes from...

@Atlas is correct. Jinnah / IML consistently won in the East but lost in West. Pakistan was born due to the Bengali Muslims and not due to Punjabi Muslims. That is a indisputable historical fact.
Well sometimes I feel that India will make peace with Pakistan lol! And Bangladesh will be its bitter enemy if they keep crossing their limit.

If you observe carefully, Former East Pakistan was more hostile towards India.

Historically west Pakistan always considered more Liberal than East Pakistan!

IK is pro peace so India & Pakistan may bury the hatchet in the near future. India & BD have excellent relations.

Rajya Sabha MP and former Union Minister Subramanian Swamy questioned the ruling BJP on its silence over the recent spate of attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, asking if "we are afraid" of the neighbouring country.

"Why is the BJP govt not protesting on the issue of the developing genocide of Hindus in Bangladesh? Are we afraid of BD? After the fear of Chinese aggression in Ladakh, we are cowed by Taliban take over of Afghanistan and want to talk with them. Will we be next afraid of Maldives?" Subramanian Swamy tweeted on Wednesday.

India has so far been guarded in its response to the violent incidents, with the MEA saying the Indian mission was in close contact with the Bangladeshi authorities over the matter.

"We have seen some disturbing reports of untoward incidents involving attacks on religious gatherings in Bangladesh. We note that the government of Bangladesh has reacted promptly to ensure control of the situation, including the deployment of law enforcement machinery," the MEA said last week.

The TMC has trained its guns on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being "inactive" on the issue. The party asked whether PM Modi was trying to use the recent developments in Bangladesh to provoke Hindu sentiments in Bengal.

"We wonder why the Prime Minister of India, who went to Bangladesh to pay his respects during the polls, went inactive from the beginning," the TMC said.

What has led to the communal violence in Bangladesh?

Attacks on Hindus and vandalisation of temples have intensified in Bangladesh since last week after an alleged blasphemous post surfaced on social media during Durga puja celebrations.

On Sunday night, a mob damaged 66 houses and set at least 20 homes of Hindus ablaze in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that action would be taken again those trying to "disturb communal harmony". She has also said that the perpetrators would be hunted down and punished.

It really looks like most of PDF Pakistanis either don't know their history , or always want to remain it hidden and keep denying it. Maybe identity crisis? They know it better

India & BD have excellent relations.
Indeed .I think it will be continued if hindutva will be neutralised!

Otherwise consequences can be unfavourable for both countries.

At least fanaticism and secularism can't stand together.

Also Bangladeshi people are feeling insecured nowadays more than ever because of activities of BJP!

Even collateral damages from Indian internal matter can be harmful for Bangladesh.
