a pity. the night skies are great. there is no interest there. when i spoke to people, they just speak of religious dogma and when folks have mythical nonsense beliefs like a like across the moon; nothing is there.
as an amateur astronomer myself, i find it truly a disgrace that instead of promoting sciences and pursuit of knowledge, religious dogma has taken hold.
Look at the Square Array that is going in up in SA lead by my ex-academic colleague; the same could have been done in the mountains or deserts in cholistan especially for radio astronomy.
